I wish I could blame whoever that was for the Suns not playing defense, having a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) for coach, and a penny pincher for an owner. :(

Nope.

Luol Deng was +45 2 games ago.

Nah, you can tell they weren't even thinking about competing with Portland. Clearly looking ahead to Monday and two days to chill in L.A. They'll be right when they come in, and so will the Lakers. But this would be a good time to start serving up notice.

Monday will be the end of the second quarter of the season, the next stage is the "separation" stage.

The Blazers have a grand total of 0 centers, yet the Magic seemed perfectly content with chucking 30 threes.

Excellent game plan.

Seriously, what is wrong withn the magic?

I mean, it's great that you CAN win games with your shooting, but when that's not working...you should use all that talent you have to go INSIDE. Bass is a beast down low, Pietrus is good enough to drive (just no smart enough), vince used to be one of the best slashers in the L, Nelson is way too quick to be relying on his jumper all the time, and SVG has to stop playing all his shooters at once with dwight.
Force carter to drive ffs, he can still do it when he wants to. Also...when shard was in seattle he was a sf and he was actually very good at scoring inside the 3-point line, not just outside of it.

I could never say that about KG. Even though he is a great player. In some way even in his prime he is Joakim Noah with a jump shot and a little better post game. Outside of that they have the exact same skill set.

The Magic play like a mid-major college team. Have one big black guy in the middle, and a bunch of shooters around him. If those shooters get hot from 3, the win. If not...well, live by the 3, die by the three. If Howard had the offensive game that Magic fans all told us he has been developing, he no doubt would have abused Juwan Howard tonight. Looks like it's still mainly put backs and alley oops for Dwight.

To be honest, For all of Nate McMillan's offensive issues - he is a good defensive coach and the Blazers did a very nice job of denying Howard the ball tonight.

40 pts ! I don't see the Clippers anymore.

Glad to have Pau back and Kobe getting used to his injuries to say so. Lamar isn't comfortable coming from the bench though.

Now I wish they can stay healthy because they have a lot of work to do on the road.
