Scrap the regular all star game format and bring back Rock N Jock basketball like there used to be in the 90's with the different scoring zones and 50 points baskets which were like 40 feet high. And have Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch do the halftime show.

It's not stupid, as this is what they do in baseball. It works in baseball because there's way less chance of getting injured. In the NBA, it wouldn't work though (IMO) because risk of injury is too great.
