Q: What NBA basketball player played for the most teams in NBA history?
In: Basketball History [Edit categories]
Basketball Players

Technically, three men are tied: Chucky Brown (played from 1989-2002), Tony Massenburg (1990-2005), and Jimmy Jackson (1992-2006) were all on the active rosters of twelve different NBA franchises. Tony Massenburg has also had two separate terms with two teams, and as well as playing on two European teams, and thus could arguably be called the most well-travelled of the three men.

I got Tony Massenburg for that honour still.

Both Canadian teams, and pretty much every other team in the league after that.

T-Mass truly was the gypsy king, although Jim Jackson played for the other half of the league.

Wonder if WAS keeps him. I could see him ending up back on SAS or even DAL otherwise.

I remember how much hype he had before he was drafted... He does come up with some great quotes...

I've had to overcome a lot of diversity

Gooden was 100% professional in Dallas. Never complained about the bench or minutes and on the court he did a lot of energy and hustle things. Way more than i expected.

His bad luck was that there was good defensive center availabe and that we need that badly.

Mavs didnt trade him because they wanted to get rid of him...

dont matter, all he can do in washington is get near double double every game, good for fantasy owners like myself, not great for haywood having to deal w/ erica tho :( , so many stats lost, mavs suck, but ya gooden has played for multiple teams

drew gooden is probably the dumbest player in nba history, thats why he bounces around, he is actually a very solidy player but he unfortunately was born without a fully functioning brain.

i would like to see him back in dallas if the wiz cut him (pretty unlikely though ...). he is a solid player of the bench and it would open even more options for the mavs. they could use dampier for another player until that deadline in that case

Yeah, I think Tony Massenberg and Chucky Brown have to, if I recall the 2nd reply correctly.

it's amazing how bad gooden has been. coming out of college he had all the attributes of a future all-star. another in a long line of Roy Williams NBA busts.

Record for most teams by a dumb player anyway. Not that teams want him, but because teams realize afterward that has has negative basketball IQ.
