Damn Kevin Love is good, his PER is between Kobe and Roy. He's been quite amazing thus far, to say the least. I remember people trashed the Wolves for trading Mayo for Love and Miller, so far I'd say they've gotten the better player of the two, and a big has a value that you can't weigh in numbers. Was it West who said that you always draft a big before a small? Well in this case the Wolves may have drafted the best talent outside of Rose in 2009. Hell, maybe he's even better than Rose.

On bad teams its not unusual for a good player to post a high PER (like Love). That makes what LeBron is doing even more amazing as he's on one of the top 2 teams in the league.

I think it would be interesting to see what the trend would be if you did this for every player in the NBA. Because this graph suggests that if you pay 6 million, you should expect a player with a PER of 20 and if you play 20 million, you should expect a player of around 24 PER.

so Wade is 2nd in PER, havent looked at it at all this season. .. interesting considering a lot of people here for whatever reason think hes struggling this season.
