Those were some odd turnovers. His passes were all over the place, and a couple of careless offensive fouls... It still felt like he was having a positive impact on his team despite the awful turnovers, and I'm not surprised to see he had the highest +/- of everyone. I noticed as soon as he left the game, the Pistons regained their lead in the 2nd half.

Cavs ball movement looks great though. I saw so many wide open 3's today. Even the missed 3s weren't contested unless they were late on the clock. Love hit 8 3's, and only took 2 two-pointers. I think he needs to go to the paint more, but I can't complain on him if he's on fire from 3 for a game.

I just hope LBJ can prevent these careless turnovers by playoff time.

That's what I would want to say to him but be too scared to if we were face to face.

Don't worry, I'm sure LeBron reads RealGM.

I´m shocked by his turnovers. It´s not like most of them come under pressure. He just throws away the ball , it´s ridiculous. He should ban this in the playoffs.

598 points away from 25k points. I don't think he'll be able to get it done this season and he has no one to blame but himself.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation

With 24 games left for the Cavs, he'd have to score 25 points in all of those remaining games and i just don't think LeBron will play enough minutes and a guy like Kyrie will get in his way from getting the shots to score enough points to reach the milestone this year. LeBron will likely reach the milestone by the first month of next year's NBA season.

Kyrie taking some of his shot opportunities. Not playing enough minutes since he came back after he missed those early games and overall, LeBron just looks like he's pacing himself and being more interested in running the offense than looking for his points. Seriously, if he didn't care much about passing the ball, he'd probably have around 26,500+ career points by now.

He wouldn't be LeBron.

Besides, there's a great chance he'll move up significantly on the playoff scoring list. Assuming a run to the finals (he's averaged 21.4 games for his 5 finals runs), which seems likely, and averages of 26.5 ppg (ppg average for his finals runs), he'll end up with about 530 points, (4,949 for his career) which will see him sitting at 6th, right behind Duncan. If he has a 2012 or 2009 type playoff run and the Spurs drop out early, he could even pass Duncan and grab the 5th spot.

He's 30 years old.

So he has 5 more seasons of good basketball left. At the max.

That'll put him around 34-35k points. Is that not good enough for you?

whats the problem?

34000 at age 35 would require 25ppg over 75 Games over the next 5 years. not that unrealistic.

there is a good chance he will be better next season. For the frist time in 5 years he is back playing SF on the perimeter. There is a good chance he works over the summer to get his 3pt shot right again and decides wether to slim down further for quickness or bulk up again.

I totally expect 26-26.5ppg 6rpg 7,5apg 53fg% 38% from 3 next year
