Having Vincent all year would’ve made quite a bit of difference.

That said, in before he re-injures himself in a shoot around.

Denver is completely different with him

Need a Den win here

They have lost every time the Lakers needed them to win this year. Given Malone's weird obsession with the Lakers, I think it's intentional. He honestly seems unhinged about them. It's not even smart either, the Nuggets should prefer the Lakers being 8th seed over the Suns, they positively own the Lakers. The Suns can always get hot shooting and cause them issues. Malone is the defintion of a sore winner, sincerely hope someone beats them because of that even though I like Jokic, Murray and MPJ.

That said, the Lakers are only in this position because Dardumbass couldn't figure out he shouldn't start Taurean Prince and Cam Reddish most of the season.

What were the other games for ex? I doubt Den was trying to trhow games lol

Darvin screwed us early

What is weird is that he has moments of being a solid coach and then some horrible moments

I dont understand some of the lineups or rotations

Even tonight, he took out Rui, Bron, and Reaves at the same time to play Dlo, Dinwiddie, Cam, Prince, and Hayes. They then closed the Q on a 12-0 run

Cam shouldn't play 1 more minute

Give those minutes to Christie and then hope Vando can return in a few weeks

Is it possible to win 8 of the next 9? A bit optimistic, but is it unreasonable?

@ Indi: We just were dominaing them and let them come back, toss up, but should win. W
@ BKN: BETTER BE A W after last times loss. W
@ Tor: They are tanking and sitting guys, W
Cavs: 1st night of a b2b, I wonder if we go for this game or the Wolves game next. I think we split them. L
Minny: W
GS: This could be a huge game for seeding depending how GS is playing. We matchup well vs them, if AD plays, then we win imo. W
@ Mem: W
@ Pels: W

Say we drop the Pels game or Indi one and win 7 of these 9

48-34

If the Suns go 5-4, which is not even an easy ask with their schedule, we would get that tiebraker

The Denver W today was bs with no Murray out

SGA better play vs the Suns on Fri

I can't remember exactly the other times, I just remember it happening. As for Ham, any moments he has seeming competent are likely LeBron telling him what to do.

What a stinker offensively.

5-30 from 3. No chance with that kind of shooting.

So is bron’s ankle f’d? He’s been pretty crappy offensively recently. At least he’s gonna be all-nba eligible.

The Lakers starting back court, while already pretty bad defensively, was a horrible 10 for 30 from the field and a laughable 1 for 13 from three. You're not going to win with that lack of production. Lebron only took 12 shots? That seems odd, but not having seen the game, I can't really speculate on why. An absolute dud of a game. Move on and forget.

Nah he looks great physically. His issue has been passiveness and missing some easy ones inside.

DLo's puny body and limited athleticism isn't built to deal with physical play. In pretty much any game refs have swallowed their whistles this season DLo has been rendered useless. Still have 0 faith in his playoff prospects (if Lakers make it).

If they win next 3, they'll be in decent shape

At this point, anything less will be disappointing.

This loss wasn’t a surprise tbh. They had won 5 in a row, including some hard-fought wins, and were due; AD’s not 100% after the Bucks game, and they’re playing in Indy against a team super hungry for a win against the Lakers. The energy just wasn’t there at all. Add to that the fact that they just couldn’t shoot a lick last night, and that’s game.

7-1 or 6-2 is very realistic.

I don't see this particular aspect mentioned here (at least in recent posts), but IMHO it's worth mentioning that after the game in Indiana LeBron is 59 dimes away from 11 000 assists during regular season. There are 8 Lakers RS games left. LBJ's averaging 8.1 apg (and even more during the latest stretch of games), so there should be no problem with achieving that feat. Unless he misses some games, which I would personally bet on taking into account his age/mileage/current health. But the race for 6-10 spots in the West is so tight that he will be actively trying to avoid that. So we shall see.

I'd like to remind that only Stockton, Kidd and CP3 are ahead of LeBron in all-time race (respectively 15 806/12 091/11 842/10 941 assists). And most likely LBJ will remain "only" 4th all-time in this category, unless he plays a couple of seasons after CP3 retires. Which personally I would not advise: longevity is great, but too much is too much and it's better not to retire as a shell of his former self. Still, becoming the first player already this season with >40 000 points/11 000 rebounds/11 000 assists would be another tremendous achievement of him.

Sacramento’s guard depth just went out the window. So 8th seed looks more probable now.

Dinwiddie throws some of the worst lobs I've ever seen from a PG.

Every big on the team outside of AD is injured right now. Defense is fugly when he sits.

On the plus side, LeBron putting on a show! Having his best 3pt season in Year 21 makes no sense.

Just as well LeBron caught fire from outside.

Rest of team = 5/26 from three

Could've won 50 games if Ham figured starting 5 earlier. And that's with a bench full of barely NBA players like Prince, Hayes and Dinwiddie

If Austin Reaves played a little better, they could win 50 games or so. AD looks ok, but the team itself looks rather weak this year.

Yeah, they just don't have any depth outside of starting 5
