Sweet. Forget the other ranking I posted.

Final Ranking:

Magic Johnson
Larry Bird
Hakeem Olajuwon
Michael Jordan
Isiah Thomas

Magic and Bird are on a tier of their own. Magic winning important tiebreakers seals the deal here.

I'm still not really sure about my votes at 3 and 4, but I don't really mind putting Dream at three, so I may as well prove a point. haha

Isiah probably wasn't talked about enough in this thread. As usual, he lifted his play in the playoffs. I like him over the young, mistake-prone Barkley and a very good Nique.

Haha Damn. My bad, Doc. If you don't want to count my above post, that's cool. It won't change anything anyway.

Thanks for understanding ronny. Going forward, if you think the way I'm giving last call could be done better, let me know.

An Unbiased Fan wrote:And Oakley wasn't a bad player at all back in 1987. 15/13/4 is bad?? Oakley was a bigtime Rodman type rebounder/defender back in the day. He was also #2 in rebounds that year.

Please, don't compare Rodman defensively and in terms of rebounds with Oakley. I like Oakley a lot, but he wasn't as good as Rodman. He grabbed the rebounds on those Bulls, because nobody else was there to do it. And him having to score the 2nd most points on a team should tell you a lot. Oakley was offensively limited. Imagine Ronny Turiaf being the 2nd option on the 2006 or 2007 Lakers, that is somewhat close on offense. Oakley was at best a 4th/5th option kind of player when he was on the court. Putbacks or some open chances around the basket, that's what you should expect from a guy like this.

An Unbiased Fan wrote:I don't see how MJ leading his team to 40 wins and then getting swept in the 1st round, outweighs what Magic(MVP/Finals MVP) & Bird did. MJ wasnt even All-Defense yet.

Jordan's defense was actually pretty good already. Judging that purely on those All-D awards is naive. Jordan done more than Bird, give him similar help that season and the Bulls beat those Celtics. But he done less than Magic.

Magic, as expected, jumps into the top 5. Hakeem also passes up Kobe. Larry Legend should be making an appearance in the top 10 after the next round of voting, bumping off LeBron James who will in turn bump off Robinson as soon as 09-10 is done.
