IBTL. Wrong place, plus there is a thread with the exact title already in player comp.

yeah, think it is on the first page even.

And when you ask it with the "as your franchise PG" qualification this almost becomes a test of NBA bball IQ. Curry might better be able to play a role if needed, but Evans has all the franchise player markers.

What are peoples obsession with comparing young guards. I swear Rose, Evans, Jennings, Curry, Rondo, and Westbrook are involved in 75% of player comparison threads.

I'll go with Stephen Curry because any team that tries to play Tyreke Evans as a point guard is never going to make the playoffs.

Similar talents but I take the pg over the combo guard any day of the week.

Tyreke Evans has the potential to be one of those difference makers on a team. I find Stephen Curry to be a product of the GSW system and more of a good player on marginal teams.

Yep, moving this to player comparisons, doesn't belong on the GB.

Reke is going to be a GREAT player. But Curry is kinda ridiculously good.

Combine Curry's court vision and shooting with Evans' slashing game and strength and you'd have the MVP front-runner position for the next decade locked up.

Given that Evans is really a SG, and Curry is a PG....

but between the two, Evans is the better talent and more complete player.

Easily Curry. I don't think Evans style will ever be conducive to winning much, just big stats and early exits from the playoffs on teams where he is surrounded by a ton of talent.

Oh yeah, plus Evans isn't a point guard...
