All players in their peak, who wins?

PG: Chauncey Billups
SG: Reggie Miller
SF: Scottie Pippen
PF: Kevin Garnett
C: Dave Cowens

vs.

PG: Magic Johnson
SG: Anthony Parker
SF: LeBron James
PF: Tyler Hansbrough
C: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Wow, that's tough. I think you'd have to include a bench for me to give you an answer.

Team 2 is definitely better offensively (IMO), Team 1 has the defensive edge. In these comparisons I usually side with the superior offensive team, I'm guessing it'd be hard for either side to get stops, especially considering both should be legit in transition (I think Team 2 is better in that cat go, Magic + LBJ = nuts) Not to mention with LBJ and Kareem they do have some legit defensive pieces. 07 Parker is also an outstanding fit for this type of team. He shot 44% of his 3s, played some of the best SG D in the league and has a high IQ passer/decision maker. To me the weak link is Psycho just because of his size, you might have to put him on Cowens.

Hard comparison but to me Team 2 fits pretty well and has more talent. I think if the team was eg. Magic/Tmac/Lebron/Amare/Kareem, I'd lean Team 1 just because of how little Team 2 would fit
