Sad thing is Bargs will be on the perimeter more than Kobe, Wade, Manu, Westbrook, and so on

Am I the only one who likes D-Will and JJ better Westbrook and Harden? I like Deron as a player more than Westbrook and fail to see the difference between Johnson and Harden TBH. They are both lanky, shoot first 2 guards. Both can fill it up and don't give too much else. We can argue all we want about Westbrook and Deron and probably never get anywhere, but I don't see how Harden and Westbrook are better. As far Manu and Parker go....I'll take Dwill and JJ also. for one , they are younger and more durable and two Deron is bigger, stronger, and faster than Tony. Deron is a better scorer than Tony as well.

I still take Nash and Kobe simply because of the playoff experience and what not. I like Deron as a PG more than Nash at this point , but Kobe is too much better than JJ.

Kobe + Nash
WB + Harden
are definitely better.

I like Deron and JJ as a regular season tandem but boy JJ's postseason shooting leaves something to be desired, same when he faces LA, SA, Miami, Boston, and so on during the season when tie breakers can be determined.

Nash + Kobe and Deron + JJ have never even played together, so it's too early to say.

On paper both should be top 3, though.

Parker+ Ginobili, Kobe+Nash, D-Will+JJ and DWade+Ray Allen have to be top 4.

Rondo+AB make probably the best defensive backcourt.

It is worth pointing out that JJ has not played alongside an elite playmaker since '04-05.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Kobe and Nash is a better backcourt than Deron and Joe Johnson. Because of the weak link Joe Johnson

I'm a Nets and Nash & Kobe is easily better. The gap between Nash and Deron is not as much as the gap between Kobe and JJ.

And Back then he only avg 17ppg so I'm not sure what people are expecting from an older player. Granted his fg% might get better. I think they'll be good but I wouldn't call them a big 3 (with Howard)

Kobe & Nash on paper. Gino and Parker have won championships though. I'll probably take a healthy Rose & Rip over them as well. I could probably find more names as well. They'll be good but not Lebron and Wade good.

Unless one or both of Nash/Bryant age quickly it's clearly them this coming season.

#2 is debatable between
-Deron/JJ
-Parker/Manu
-RW/Harden

Not sure how Allen and Wade will fit. I assume Allen comes off the bench, but either way he fell off hard last season.. though it might have been the injury.

1. Westbrook + Harden - Because of age
2. Parker + Ginobili - Experience
3. Paul + Billups - Experience
4. Jennings + Ellis - Can put up 50 pts between the two
5. Everybody else

I don't see how anybody can call Nash/Kobe or Williams/Johnson the best back court when we haven't even seen them play together. Sure, on paper they look pretty good, but who knows how it'll turn out until we see it.
Dammit...:

I've got Nurkic fever now.

In the playoffs, crunch time Heat backcourt = Wade and Ray Allen

Hrden can disappear. People act like it just happened versus Miami, but Kobe held the guy in the low 30s whenever on him that series and torched him head up on the other end. Harden isn't really good defensively or if you sit on that left hand, which is why LA was close in every game and why Miami shut them down

Billups and Paul, not sure if serious as one guy is coming off an injury that basically changed guys like Spreewell and Brand who were better athletes forever.

Jennings and Ellis are dynamic scoring wise but neither guy can truly bother their spot on D.

I love Parker but Manu always gets hurt now and at the worst times to boot.

I think Allen and Wade could be good and possibly top 3 but both guys are coming off surgeries and we don't know how Allen will be impacted by ankle surgery or if Wade will struggle after knee surgery like he did years ago where he was just bad

Kobe and Wade are arguably equal and Nash is a million times better than Ray Allen. I think Nash even had a better 3pt% this last year. What's your argument for Ray Allen over Nash? Nash is just as clutch as Ray Allen
