What are some of your favorite or least favorite all time Basketball Chokes?
My least favorite choke would be 2004 Laker choke
And my favorite choke would be 2010 Lebron James choke
How about you?

I don't know if you can consider the wheelchair as a choke, but it brought down Pierces rep quite alot so I have to go with that as my favorite even though he came back strong and they won. Just so funny to look back on
Least favorite, as it should be for any Knicks fan is John Starks:1994 Finals Game 7

The third best player on your team was also injured most of the season

Speaking of Western Conference Game 7's, Kings in 2002 Game 7 was pretty sad to see

05 Kobe.

Quit on his team in Game 7 and blew a 3-1 lead.

Chris Webber in the NCAA finals with the phantom time out? Or Chris Webber in Washington's only playoff season with him? Or Chris Webber in SAC against the Lakers? Or . . . let's just stick with the NCAA finals choke.

Kobe in Game 2 against the Thunder this year comes to mind. Lakers up by 7 with 2:08 remaining and Kobe pretty much threw the game away with poor decision after poor decision. Biggest choke job I've ever seen from Kobe down the stretch of a game.

Couple more, both serious mental stupidity moves . . .

Pippen refusing to play in the last seconds of close game because they drew up a play for Kukoc rather than for him.

Butch van Breda Koff holding Wilt out of the end of a game 7 after he had come off to get his ankle looked at and losing the NBA championship to the Knicks despite having Wilt/Baylor/West.

That was 1969, against the Celtics.

As a Laker fan it's one of the most gut-wrenching moments in NBA history... Win that one, and the momentum probably snowballs and we rip off 3-4 straight until '72.

Dunno, never really thought about this.

Individual chokes.

Nick Anderson - self explanatory
Dennis Scott - 95 Finals
T-Mac 03 - 1st round loss after being up 3-1

Kobe - 04 Finals - WOAT Finals performance / Choke

Van Exel - 98 Playoffs
Lebron - 2011 Finals, embarassing choke
Kobe - 2012 VS OKC

Team chokes.

1995 PHX - lost to Rockets after being up 3-1? I think.
1996 Orlando - everyone sucked (including Penny) except for Shaq against the Bulls.
2006 Dallas - self explanatory
2007 Dallas - lost to Baron Davis / GState.
2011 Lakers - everyone on the team played terribly as Dallas swept them.
