Top 5 PF's
I want to see everyones top 5 power forwards. It's such a strong position, and with the way some are playing, it's so close.

Re: Top 5 PF's
Now
Kevin Love - he might be blah on defense but he rebounds at a all-time level
LaMarcus Aldridge - he has rounded into the two way player that we jnew he could be
Anthony Davis - yes he is a monster in the making
Blake Griffin - yes I have at 4 and yes he belongs here . Does not mean I agree with it .
Serge Ibaka - needa to bound a littke bit more so I can place him above Blake .
All-Time
Tim Duncun - nuff said
Kevin McHale - the best 2 way player that can play the most positions untill
Dennis Rodman - the modern day Bill Russell defensively . Could guard everyone well . He can start countless fastbreaks with his rebounding and passing . His only drawback was scouring and didn't need to do that .
Kevin Garnett - since he's been out east I've learned to detest him . However talent is talent . Sure he could park his but down low and use the postmoves taught to him by McHale . But would he still be playing today if he did
Charles Barkley - this sive on defense could do two things well. That's rebounding at a all-time rate & score inside better then 6'4" 300lbs mass of mess in nba history .

Today:
1. Kevin Love
2. Dirk Nowitzki
3. LaMarcus Aldridge
4. Blake Griffin
5. Al Horford
HM: Anthony Davis pre injury - I'd take him at #1, kid is a complete package.
All-Time:
1. Tim Duncan
2. Dirk Nowitzki
3. Kevin Garnett
4. Karl Malone
5. Charles Barkley
6. Bob Pettit - I know it's top 5, but Pettit is much closer to the top 5 than to the rest of power forwards. Then Kevin McHale.

Current:
1. Kevin Love
2. Dirk Nowitzki
3. Anthony Davis
4. LMA
5. Tim Duncan
I honestly, firmly believe Duncan is still better than the types of Griffin, Horford, Ibaka, etc. Not only because of his play in the Finals last year, but also because of what he's shown us this year on limited minutes. Of course his success stems from those limited minutes, but that's not an argument against him in my book.
All-time:
1. Tim Duncan
2. Kevin Garnett
3. Dirk Nowitzki
4. Karl Malone
5. Charles Barkley
5 Truly awesome players. Easily my favourite position in all of basketball.

I like your list pretty well for both I will go with this, but in my mind as a Blazers fan I think Aldridge is #1

Do you consider Duncan a C or are you deliberately disrespecting him? There's just no way Duncan is not in any top 5 all-time PF list.

I noticed that too. But when I saw Chris Webber on there at 3 and Rodman on there at 4, it all made sense.
When someone says, "to make a long story short", it's usually too late.

What position did Rasho Nesterovic and David Robinson play?

Did you see Chris Webber when he was at his prime? Obviously he didn't end up having a top 5 career, but listing him as a top 5 talent isn't that far fetched. He could've been the best pf imo, if he would've had the right attitude.
Rodman had a huge positive impact for his teams, there's more to basketball than scoring and stats...
I excluded mchale because i haven't seen enough of him to form an opinion. And Barkley imo gets massively overrated, from what i've seen he didn't play too much defense and the only reason he's become such a mythical player is because of the height nonsense. Sure he was undersized but not nearly as much as he likes to claim. His standing reach was definitely above average for the position.

What position did Rasho Nesterovic and David Robinson play?
When asked who the starting center would be in Game 1 against the Jazz, Pop treated it as a silly question and said: “Tim Duncan, like we have for the past 15 years.”
They called it the twin towers for a reason, they were both centers. Did that blow your mind? Look it's really simple imo, duncan looks and plays like a center so to me he's a center.

I would say so but its debatable.
We have:
Kareem
Russell
Wilt
Shaq
Hakeem
All of those guys are top 10 all time in my opinion along with Duncan. The question is who does he knock out? I think he has an argument over 2-3 of those guys.
Only the playoffs separate the true great ones and frauds.

Nothing is less interesting than the debate over what position to call Tim Duncan. Nothing.
