Already the best player on the team. Making people on this forum look silly already and he's still a teen.

Gotta love the Bucks board

"Trade him for LeBron, KD, or AD. Other than that, we'll pass. Mayyyyyyyybe Westbrook, Curry, Blake, Cousins, Harden, but we'd have to think about it"

Yeah, he's been excellent.

He's been decent. Definitely someone to keep an eye on. Point being, he has lots of potential but so does many young players in the league. Not all of them will be superstars in future.

He's been better than decent. 16.7 points @ .577 TS per 36 so far and if you watch the games, nobody has been able to contain him off the drive. He's putting up those points with only .209 usage as well. He's going to be a monster by the time he's 22.

I'll confess to being a huge Giannis homer, but his career arc is turning out pretty much the way we boosters said it would. Everybody has a right to doubt excessive hype, but the kid IS STILL ONLY NINETEEN!

16.7/8.2/2/1/1 per 36 with excellent defense is already a very good player folks. Then you remind yourself that he is a 19 year old 7 footer with guard skills. He goes #1 in the last two drafts if you redo them today without question.

You guys should really try watching him once, he's incredibly entertaining

Thanks for the super useful lecture.

Giannis with a new career high of 20 points with 6/11 .
He was extremely accurate from the free throw lines ( 8/8 shots made) with 5 assists and 5 boards 3 steals and only 2 t/os in 36 minutes he played.

All he needs is to show us the jumper he made in the last seconds and boy he is ready.

Yeah no chance he gets picked over wiggins in a redraft. Per 36 stats are a great way to inflate a players output. He's playing well but lets not get carried away.

who are we suppose to want to trade him for? To trade a young player with the potential Giannis has we'd have to be getting a star back, 100%.

He absolutely could get picked over Wiggins in a redraft, I'd take him over Parker for sure too. Just watch him play.

Any GM that picks Giannis over Wiggins in a redraft needs brain surgery.

What actually Wiggins has better than Giannis other than the easier skill to work (jumper)? Giannis has elite handles for 6'11 great passing/vision that Wiggins didnt show.

Uh, no. I'm not saying I'd take Giannis over Wiggins or vice versa, but watching both of them, it's hardly a dumb move like you're suggesting it is. And all things considered, the potential is totally comparable. I think people are just taking the "Giannis is overhyped" narrative and running with it, completely neglecting that there's a reason the hype exists.

...This again? Just enjoy his development and stop worrying about where he was drafted.
