2011 bulls vs current bulls

Post#1 » by RSCD3_ » Sat Oct 25, 2014 4:22 am

Assuming rose has a healthy season ( to his standards ) Are the current bulls a better team due to more offensive prowess than they were in 2011. IE are they more of a contender than they were in 2011

Well, i don't see Rose being as good as he was in 2011 so my answer is automatically no.

Also, im not sure this team is much better offensively, Pau in place of Boozer does help though.

If Rose is healthy they could certainly be better.
I would guess for a first year back I expect less of strain on him so maybe 2010 Rose.
They are missing Deng but replaced with a better bench and the players there have gotten better.
They certainly can be better but I don't think they will be one of the best defenses of all time great as the 11Bulls were. The better offense and top 3 defense makes them overall just as good if not better.

Better because now we have a guy who will lock down Lebron, Wade, Melo in a series.

I really like Butler but those are overall team efforts.
You think Butler with no defensive starting wing next to him and no one off the bench like Brewer?

We should be-I think Rose will have a great second half and Gasol will help our D a ton. Noah and Gibson are better, and Butler is about equal to Deng (better on D, worse on O)
