All players in their prime, 7game series, neutral ground.

C Hakeem Olajuwon
Pf Larry Bird
Sf LeBron James
Sg Dwayne Wade
Pg Steph Curry

Use any other 5 players you want to build a team that you think could take them down.

Steve Nash
Michael Jordan
Scottie Pippen
Kevin Garnett
Bill Russell

Goal? With the exception of Nash, utterly defend the crap out of the ball, force a slow down and make it a battle of a few possessions either way - to determine victory or death.

Edit: Slight revision on PG position

Clyde Frazier or John Stockton
Michael Jordan
Scottie Pippen
Kevin Garnett
Bill Russell

When your goal is a slowed down game, you might prefer Stockton, Frazier or even Chris Paul over Nash. Nash's biggest strength is running a fast offense with a lot of pick-and-rolls/pops and outgunning the opponent.

He'd be the PG of choice in a team like that:
C David Robinson
PF Dirk Nowitzki
SF Kevin Durant
SG Ray Allen
PG Steve Nash
And then pray for all players clicking on all cylinders and hitting their shots. ;)

Your team is great and thanks for the suggestion. I'd put Frazier or Stockton in the PG slot for my team then and hope for a nasty, drawn-out battle.

Your team would be lights out.
