It's always a great reminder for newer fans how team composition, team responsibities and system can greatly alter the impact a player has, and the perception that they are viewed with.

I completely agree, circumstances can make a player look better (or worse), which is why I don't put a lot of stock into peak. Peak is just based off statistical reference. Players have to adjust their games year after year according to teammates, coaching, injuries, and team goals. Which is another reason why I don't always go to stats first to judge a player, they aren't always indicative of the players ability......
