How good was prime Detlef? and what tier of players would he be comparable to if he plays in today's game?

Very, very good. He was one of the most versatile players of the 90s: good scorer, good shooter, good rebounder, good playmaker, good slasher, and a decent defender. I think he would absolutely kill it in a Spurs/Warriors/Hawks/Blazer type of system, and he would still be effective in a less balanced system, too.
