Yes.

Unlike Pippen, Marion guarded a LOT of 4s - true low post PFs too and most of them in their prime. He defended centers on occasion as well - most notably, Yao. That's in addition to the already expected laundry list of 3-2-1's assigned to him as a perimeter defender.

So yeah, I think this label goes to Marion easily.

Dennis Rodman for me. You can think of him defending elite PG/SG/SF/PF/C and coming out on top. He was a stupid jerk most of the time but I gotta give him credit for being a great defender.
