James Harden 2015-2016 Thread

Post#1 » by LarsV8 » Thu Oct 8, 2015 5:22 am

A little rusty in game 1, but Harden looked excellent tonight. 19pts, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, 1 turnover, +23 playing only the first half.

Looks like he has been practicing his stepbacks. Smooth as ever.

Lets kick of 2015 with some highlights :D

Missed the game vs. Dallas, but I did watch him vs. Memphis. He continued to settle for jumpers even when his shot was off. I hope he doesn't get lazy over the course of the season because his slashing ability is too good to not exploit, especially with the shooters and lob catchers he has.

Lots of great stepbacks and passes. That one moved around 1:30 on the right baseline was dirty. Spin to stepback to J. Quick, crisp, brutal.

probably will just mange how much he slashes. Since he going take more contact. Lets see if he can played controlled basketball with a PG like Lawson. No more 12 TO or 7 . His TO ratio should go down.

I don't think it's laziness but more preservation. Preseason is meaningless I don't want Harden attacking the rim with reckless abandon in a preseason game. I also don't want him going too hard in the regular season either. The Rockets are stacked with talent, and against 75% of the teams in the NBA they should be able to win w/o Harden having to carry them.

I have a feeling Ty Lawson needing the ball will lead to a less dominant statistical season for Harden, but we'll see
