in NBA history? You got,

Lebron
KD
PG13
Kawhi
Melo
Butler (interchangeable at the 2 and 3)
Gay
Harris
Heyward

I can't remember the last time a position was this stacked with 4 legit MVP caliber players, and overall studs playing at the same time.

You'd think you would remember Wiggins after he dropped 31 on the Bulls and shut down Butler.

OK. So Chandler Parsons is not one of the most talented SF in the league.

Fine by me.

He's at best a middle of the pack starting small forward in this league.

What about a hybrid like Draymond Green? Especially since there are other hybrids like LBJ(3-4), PG(3-4) & Butler(2-3) in the OPs list.

And it's only getting better, most of those guys are still pretty young. Don't forget Wiggins and Giannis too.

To directly answer the question, the last big era for SFs was the 1980s. Not going to go check years exactly, but circa 1984-5 or so you would have had:

Bird
Dr. J
Nique
English
Dantley
Worthy
Aguirre
Eddie Johnson
X-Man
King

83-84 season TOP10 PTS/G

1. Dantley
2. Aguirre
3. Kiki
4. English
5. King
6. Gervin
7. Bird
8. Mitchell
9. Cummings PF
10. Purvis

9 sf from 10

Erving, Dominique, Tripucka, M. and E. Johnson's also had avg over 20 PTS/G

MVP Bird, second was King

80ies are best by far

Green hasn't played a minute at the 3 all season, he's more of a 4/5.

It's crazy how much the modern era of basketball gets disrespected by old school guys who glorify the 80s and 90s. I can respect your opinion, but the difference in talent & production is not a huge gap like you think.

Lebron > Bird (debatable, but history will place Lebron higher after all is said and done)
Durant > 30+ past-his-prime Dr. J
Paul George (especially THIS season) > Nique (I'd rather have PG for his defense)
Melo is basically the modern day English/Dantley
Kawhi Leonard is on his way to being better than Worthy

Then as mentioned, we still have studs like Wiggins, Hayward, Iguodala, Barnes, Gay, Harris, Batum, Parsons, Middleton, along with up and comers like Jabari Parker, Winslow, Stanley Johnson, and Aaron Gordon. It's easy to argue that we are seeing the new golden age of SFs in the NBA.

You know back in my days when boys were in the town we used to go to the big basketball arena to watch basketball game because that's what the fans do because that's how we would get to watch the game back in the days. And to get in there we would buy the ticket for the whole two dollars which was a big money back in the days, but basketball back then was in its prime and worth every cent. We witnessed the greatest basketball players playing their best, lots of contact and no foul calling, these men playing like real men and the fans were so loud back in the days because that's how we used to watch basketball back in those days

And these youngins simply don't respect our era which makes me very sad. Adrian Dantley, oh ma looord bless his family and friends, would average about 40 points per game in todays era, he was a phenomenal talent and a very great human being.

Simply no era will ever touch the magnitude of the 80s in talentwise and the game wise as well, nothing but a good ol days blasting some good ol van halen's jump through my nissan maxima speakers and driving to the celtics arena with my real, not inernet, friends to watch my boys playing best basketball ever. These kids will never understand this.
