After the seasons Steph and Draymond had I would've laughed at u if u told me the best warrior throughout the western conference playoffs was klay Thompson. There's no question he's the 2nd best 3pt shooter ever IMO. His defense on Russ this series was great he shut down lillard in a couple halves against Portland especially game 5 2nd half

Him and stephs shot making really makes these warriors an all-time great team. You have to outplay them solidly enough in the other areas to beat them because out of any team in history you're most likely not gonna shut them down consistently. Okc did outplay them in the other areas, rebounding, paint mainly and I think turnovers were relatively even but it wasn't to a wide enough margin to make up for their shot making.

22 threes in the finals and he breaks the record Curry set last year for threes made during a single playoffs (he has 77 now, Curry had 98 last year)

He hit 30 threes this OKC series which would have been the all time record in a playoff series had Curry not hit 32 in the series himself

He was the best and most consistent Warrior all postseason. Feel like he might be in the best Sg in the league talks next season. I mean some already had him there but i think he will have a strong case.

He shouldve kept his mouth shut tho. Saying the Warriors were better than Showtime and Lebrons feelings were hurt lol, what a backfire.

Sorry, but Klay was anything but consistent...which is just who he is. He went from blistering hot one game to ice cold the next, and so on. Outside of 1 game, he was pretty bad in these Finals too.

I give him a lot of credit for finally stepping up in moments when his team really needed him these playoffs, and his defense was really good, but he's not a superstar offensively. And he seems to be one of those players that only gets attention when he plays well, and when he plays like crap, people ignore it. Tony Parker was like that too.

Great player, save Golden State's season in Game 6 against Thunder

but he woke up King James. Dumb thing to do

Yeah, consistent is the last word I'd use to describe Klay. He just disappeared at times.

Klay saved the USA once already in this olympics (dropped 30 with 7 threes in a 100-97 win vs France while they rested Tony Parker). They needed every bit of his barrage in that game, they could have certainly lost.... Now he has 17 at half against Spain in another tight one. He has been somewhat crappy in these olympics otherwise, but these outbursts have been so well timed.
