It makes no sense how '09 Wade has 7 votes while '03 TMac has 0.

Wade was 3rd in voting for Defensive Player of the Year.

I am well aware of that. McGrady still has the offensive edge, though. Don't think Wade's defense that year puts him on a much higher level, if higher at all.

Their scoring the negligible IMO. Yes McGrady was a better outside shooter, but Wade was just as efficient scoring that season and his midrange game was money. His shot selection was slightly better. They both were excellent playmakers and their turnover rate for their amount of USG and ballhandling they did, was very impressive.

But, Wade was at least a level above as a defender.
