Rank them according their impact (offense+defense):
peak Kobe (2006)
peak Durant (2014)
peak Pippen (1994)
peak Leonard (2016)

My rankings:

1.Durant
2.Kobe
3.Leonard
4.Pippen

These no calls on LeBron are crazy. A lot of stars got foul calls to protect them from the league. That's gonna be the most enduring take from his career.

Durant's 2014 is definitely the best season out of the 4 here, and I have Kobe's second. Leonard for me is a somewhat distant fourth; Pippen's point forward passing, distributing and ball-handling skills give him a definitive edge over Leonard here.

I agree with your rankings. I would divide it like this:

Durant
Kobe

Leonard
Pippen

I think there's a bit of a gap between the first two and last two. Durant was disappointing in the '14 playoffs, I think Kobe would've done a better job in his place, so it's definitely close (I just think that Durant's regular season advantage is pretty clear).

Come on man, you gotta be kiddin' me with that gap between Pippen and Leonard. You just basically implied that Pippen was pretty close to Kobe, but Kawhi was not close to Scottie, at all. That doesn't make sense.

Just tired of this Kawhi GOAT bs basically. Durant is pretty clearly above everybody else. Kobe comes second with Pippen a fairly distant third. If put into tiers:
Durant
Kobe
.
Pippen
Kawhi

What about the humongous gulf between them in shooting and overall scoring? Pippen's passing was definitely nice but I feel passing on his level is easier replaceable than Kawhi's 44% 3p shooting and very good ISO scoring.
