I'm quite interested to see the difference between their PPG and FGA for both next season. Both are expected to be even more efficient and will get their fair share of open looks (if Kerr and the team handles this transition perfectly of course). Looking back at these 2 stats in their best NBA seasons :
2013-2014 KD averaged 32 PPG with 20.8 FGA per game.
2015-2016 Steph averaged 30.1 PPG with 20.2 FGA per game.
Pretty close. GOAT-level efficiency. If I base my prediction (for next season) on those stats above then :
KD needs 13.8 FGA to average 25 PPG per game
Steph needs 15.1 FGA to average 25 PPG per game
Will that kind of crazy efficiency actually happen for both at the same time next season? lol. Kinda hard to believe but It's gonna be something interesting to see for me. I think both can average 25 PPG with only 15 FGA per game next season if everything works out but who knows what can happen. Maybe the new transition will affect both negatively. Maybe injuries happen. You never know.
What is the FGA per game Curry & Durant need to average 25 PPG next season?

why not include FTAs? it's not bout how much shots you take, it's about how many possessions you use.

5 and 7 a game, so just 2-3 more possessions than already stated
