Agreed. Oscar was arguably the best rookie in NBA history, he was already close to his peak as a rookie.

Bird won ROY over Magic, but Johnson performed better in the playoffs and that tips the scales in his favor, in my opinion.

I'd say Kareem and Robinson are slightly better (Wilt and Duncan have a case too).

I'd say Kareem and Robinson are slightly better (Wilt and Duncan have a case too).

I would agree with that, I also have Kareem and David as the two best rookies ever. Oscar probably had the best rookie season ever by a perimeter player, though (Jordan close second, Magic third).
