Kawhi/Draymond to start can't pass up the best modern defensive duo.
East #1 Draft Picks: Fultz, Banchero, Wiggins, Cuninigham
West #1 Draft Picks: Edwards, WIlliamson, Ayton, Towns

This.
Would be a monstrous defensive team.

Re: '09 Roy/Gasol vs '16 Kawhi/Draymond
RS: '16 Kawhi/Draymond
PS: '09 Roy/Gasol
Reason: Kawhi/Draymond are excellent two-way players and Roy and Gasol are certainly in a lower tier when it comes to defense. The first duo would probably outperform the latter duo over a 82-game span. Nevertheless, I don't think Kawhi/Draymond has as much offense arsenal as Roy/Gasol do for taking their teams deep in a playoff run when the opponent teams' defense tightens up during the playoffs. '09 Roy's was very clutch and his individual offense, IMO, was on par with prime Kobe's
