Simmons was the better prospect by a decent margin. Fultz is nice, maybe he can be the next Lillard eventually. Simmons' skillset is much more rare. 6'9" guys with elite vision and playmaking is something only found in Lebron and no one else. If Simmons can be even 60% of what Lebron is, you take him over Fultz any day of the week.

Fultz. Simmons is heading down that Sixers injury curse, I can tell.

I think people have the idea that rare or unique is automatically better

Fultz is a much better player than Simmons is at the same age in my opinion. Sure, player like Simmons is more rare but what does that really mean? Fultz scales at all the things that are really important, maybe that makes him a boring prospect but hey Tim Duncan didn't have anything that was too strange either and it worked out well for him.

Simmons is a once in a generation talent. Simmons no doubt.
The scariest question in NBA history.

He's from the same generation as Towns, Davis, Gianni's and Embiid. Are you really saying he's above those guys lol?

Simmons. As a prospect he's more special. Its not often a guy his size is as skilled and can move like he can.

This is exactly what I was going to say.

People keep saying how "special" and "unique" Simmons is but he really can't shoot which is a gapping hole in today's NBA.

I'm taking Simmons. If he can get his body right and start developing a serviceable jumper, has top 5 player potential.

Idk how people are comfortable saying some of these guys will suck lol

I'm just trying not to be screenshotted 10 years fro now calling Ball a bust while he averages 50ppg or some ****. Same thing happened on forums with Lebron. Saw a picture on reddit of someone saying maybe he could be as good as Cuttino Mobley

Simmons easily. Funny this thread is bashing DLo when Fultz looks like DLo part 2. Better shooter, worse passer, all the same weaknesses. I liked DLo tho (still do) so I like Fultz but its funny hearing people list his strengths and making up stuff. Like people saying he can drive well. He gets to the rim as much as DLo did and finishes just as bad as Russell did in college.

LeBron reminded me of Darius Miles, back then Miles had a ton of hype and his high school games were packed, not to the extent of being televised on national TV like LeBron's but still, as high as anything gets to in East St. Louis.

Take it for what it's worth, maybe it was hyperbole, but Embiid called Simmons the best player on the Sixer's roster in training camp last year. I think the problem some people have is that Simmons hasn't played in a game in a year so they forget just how good he is. This isn't even a debate for me, Simmons. Just a better all-around player.

Fultz is the better athlete though. That's kinda the difference.

DLo being my favorite player in CBB at the time, and being a UW fan, I watched a lot of both. They're not even on the same tier athletically. Not even close

we see the opposite as well. every single year one or two guys from top 5 pics are big busts in the past decade.

He's stronger and a better leaper but he's just as slow as DLo.
