What five players would you most like to see play together?
Past or present. Not really the best tean, the most fun to watch.
I'm inclined to take a great passing team. Say, Walton, Bird, Magic, Barry and Maravich. Something like that could be interesting.

Re: What five players would you most like to see play together?
My team:
PG Kidd
SG Ginobili
SF Vince
PF Bird
C D. Howard
you have great passing, shooting, slashing, rebounding, hustle and good defense. Great on the fastbreak and just as good in the halfcourt.
If you wanna make it a bit more traditional, put in KG at PF instead of Bird. That would make make the defense even better. Both Bird and KG are good fits alongside Dwight though.
When the game is on the line (would that ever be the case though?) you have 4 excellent playmakers that are all clutch as hell and three of them are big time scorers.
and yeah, I really picked Manu over MJ.

Is this your top 5 favorite players ? If so these are mines: Rose, Wade, Durant, Amare, Howard.

Man, what a great question! If I could play players out of position, I’d like to see
West (1970)
Magic (1989)
Bird (1985)
Duncan (2002)
Walton (1978) (or Hakeem 1994…but preferably Walton)
jusst becaus eI think they'd be a truly great team that would be completel[y great to watch. Others that would just as goodf--but not as much fun--would be.
Oscar (1964)
Moncrief (1983)
LeBron (2009)
KG (2004)
Kareem (1979)
Paul (2009)
Frazier (1970)
Erving (1976)
K. Malone (1997)
Wilt (1967)
Yes, I know I don’t have Jordan on a team. Truly awesome player…but I’d rather see teams without him.
By the way…sleeper team
PG—Terry Porter (1991)
SG—Lou Hudson (1970)
SF—Willie Wise (1972)
PF—Jeff Ruland (1984)
C—Jack Sikma (1982)
A team that I’d love to watch that would be scary tough and good.

Re: What five players would you most like to see play together?
Pete Maravich, Rip Hamilton, Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley, and Wilt Chamberlain.
That team has offense, defense, excitement, and personality. Maravich can shoot and pass, Rip and Scottie are great off-ball. Barkley and Wilt can score down low and board like hell.
What a great question though.

Re: What five players would you most like to see play together?
Well if I was taking the question literally I'd make a team of like Oscar, West, Baylor, Wilt, Russell just to see them play. The full game video of those players available is rather zilch, well at least on youtube where I usually like watching older games, which I much prefer to just highlights. Maybe I should look harder for DVDs and tapes out there on these guys
But following the theme of "who would be most fun together", something like
Magic
West
Erving
Bird
Walton
Would be pretty awesome

Give me
Isiah Thomas
Jerry west
Julius Erving
Dirk nowitzki
David Robinson
Isiah could ride dirk n David to play physical as well as take over games himself. Jerry west gives you an off the ball scorer who played arguably the best defense of his time period. Julius gives isiah a fast break option and an athletic wing who can "do it all." Dirk is the only odd one out in this group but cmon he's so dynamic and with defensive stalleorths all around he'd finally have a ring. Lastly, Robinson rounds out the group because I want a big who can run and doesn't need to be # 1.

Whatever 5 are wearing the Wizard jerseys . . . I'd especially like to see them play together on defense . . . not that that is likely anytime soon
