1. Hiow are they doing it with a roster composed of horse manure?

2. How do we matchup against them?

3. Could we, the veteran team with fundamentals beat the young upstarts with size, athleticism and defenisve grit?

I see MIL is top ten in Rebounds, Assists and defensive Points Allowed. All hallmarks of a well coached team. (Ironically enough) But I think everyone would agree they are very much a surprise team considering they have largely the same caST as last year plus one highly rated rookie.

Kidd has to be the early leader for Coach of the Year, right?

Talent. Simple as that. Parker, Giannis, Sanders none of those guys are even close to scratcing the surface of what they can become capable of. They all have length, talent, and age on their side. That trip is only going to get better every year too. Just imagine if they had Teague right now when they offered him that 4 year/32 million contract and we matched it.

Good point. I kind of wish we had embraced being bad for a year or two when Ferry came aboard. Having Giannis and Dennis on this team moving forward would be incredible.

Garnering top young talent, surrounding them with a good coach and able vets is indeed a more tangible approach for success (IMO) than bringing in modest players year after year in hopes they over achieve.

I think we are a better team today. But I think MIL and MIN both have much brighter futures based on elite young talent to develop or trade.

Also, I think trading Brandon Jennings for Brandon Knight was a brilliant move as well. BK is playing about as well as Teague.

I hate to see a young player get hurt. But this opens up the chase for a top seed in the LEASTERN Conference.

But if Lou steps in and fills this void, allowing them to remain on top of the conference....

it'd be poetic justice I suppose.

Not really related to anything, but this is one of the funniest NBA clips I have ever seen. Kobe is forced to endure irrelevance and mediocrity for the remainder of his career.

Well when you made more money last year than Duncan, Manu and Parker combined then you can't complain about the supporting cast around you.

So If brooklyn Magically wins the lottery than who would you guys pick #1

Would you take one of the bruising bigs of Towns / Okafor, the point Mudiay or maybe select high on a wing like Hezonja
I came here to do two things: get lost and slice **** up & I'm all out of directions.

Odd in that I actually logged in to add a post to this thread. That thread is typically stickied - no idea why that didn't happen this year.

Looks like about 12-15 topics all on #4.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

I'm pretty sure that he/she was the person who was talking about how the lottery was going to be rigged for the Knicks and that they were guaranteed the #1 pick. LOL, I'm almost happier that the Knicks got 4 than I am that the Lakers got 2.

  • LaMarcus Aldridge notified POR he ain't coming back.
  • Blazers have begun their rebuild by shipping out Nic Batum for Noah Vonleh and Gerad Henderson
  • CHA has acquired Batum, Spencer Hawes and Jeremy Lamb to help shore up their 3-pt shooting deficiency.
  • Kevin Love opted out for Free Agency and will be recruited BIG TIME.

Man. This has been one of the best Hot Stove off seasons in years.

And Free Agency isn't even for another week.

Love CHA's aggressive moves. Loves POR realization they need to acquire players in trade as they rebuild on the fly.

I saw where LeBron opted out as well.

I hope this year, all FAs don't wait on LeBron to get a deal done. It might cost us DMC or Sap based on the time other teams get a chance to talk to them.

And I don't see how we can get Aldridge unless we lose Sap or DMC, but that would have to happen first.

The concerns regarding his return from injury are real, but in my dreams...Wes Mathews is the top Free Agent we pursue. Allowing Millsap to walk and FINALLY moving Horford to PF.

Monta signs with Indiana.

I got Pacers and MIA as the two teams most likely to unseat us at #2 in the East. With a more offensively talented CHI thrown in for good measure, the top4 in the EC should be much stronger than this past playoffs.
