And in Iversons defense, his line up was Theo Ratliff, Tyrone Hill, George Lynch, Aaron McKie, Matt Geiger, Eric Snow...literally none of those guys could score.

Ya of course, that is how the sixers designed the team, they traded away Stackhouse because they didn't want another guy competing for shots with Iverson.

Saying it for years. Teague is a good young player. But he is not enough to carry this team to the next level.
He is our best trade chip and we are a flawed team. Time to move him while the getting is good. A year from now will be too late.

I think the Rockets would take a look at him this summer for possible trade.

Not sure what the Rockets have that might interest the Hawks though.

I hear they've got a big who can shoot ok from three, block shots, pass, rebound, and just needs a good coach to get him in line.
Seriously what do they have?

I'm not advocating that Teague must go, but I would take a Teague trade for the right price.
Teague for a top 10 pick(6-10) is fair value alone.
Our problem would then be hoping Schroder takes it to the next level, or we sign a PG in free agency.

Re: Teague showcasing talents on national stage
From ESPN's Hawks season Recap:
Remember, Popovich-Parker is the relationship prototype here, which means Teague is ridden hard in Atlanta. That can wear on a player's confidence unless he's truly special -- and therein lies the question. Is Teague sufficiently special for a team on the Hawks' mission, and does he have the confidence to lead?
For now, Atlanta's fortunes will ride with Teague. At two more years and $16 million, his deal is too affordable to forfeit, and whatever deficiencies exist, he's still a very nice point guard. The organization loves second-year backup point Dennis Schroder. If Schroder were reasonably mature -- and he isn't -- there could be a basis for a more serious debate about the point guard slot, but for a little while longer, the platoon makes sense for Atlanta, even if it isn't ideal.
