The recent draftee had a nice game last week with his Turkish team:

Hope he gets plenty of PT and can keep up this type of production. I'd love to see him in training camp next year with a legit shot to make the team.

Hawks’ Patterson in Atlanta prepping for Summer League

Lamar Patterson has arrived in Atlanta where he will work out until playing for the Hawks entry in the Las Vegas Summer League next month.

Patterson was a 2014 second-round pick by the Bucks and obtained by the Hawks in a draft-day trade last year. He spent the past season in Turkey playing for Tofas Bursa. In 29 games, Patterson averaged 11.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 28.0 minutes. He shot 50 percent for the field, including 35.3 percent from 3-point range, playing shooting guard and small forward.

The 6-foot-5 Patterson played four seasons at Pittsburgh. The Hawks continue to hold his rights and sent representatives to Europe on several occasions to watch Patterson.

The Las Vegas Summer League is scheduled for July 10-20.

I completely forgot about this kid during our magical regular season run. Can't wait to see what he does.
