Well written piece.

Reading this gives me a greater respect & admiration for KK as a player. He is indeed limited, but he's managed to improve from being more than just a specialist by working at his craft greatly. Between the streak, his invite to ALL-Star weekend (which he declined) and his selection to audition for Team USA, he has revitalized his career since coming here.

I've given him grief, but he's earned the long term contract and his starting spot by what he brings to the team.

I'd like to see him finish his career here and get his jersey in the rafters. He's been nothing but a class act since the day he got here.

Sidenote: That NJ let a drafted player get away to save a few hundred thousand in cash is pretty telling. I get very concerned when I see us making similar moves for the sole purpose of saving very minor amounts of money instead of making moves to improve our team.

Really cool video of KK dueling Klay Thompson in a 3-pt shooting contest.

It's nice to have a player on our squad who is truly great at something. He's one of the best in the world right now. I want to see Korver and Curry going head-to-head in the 3-pt shootout we were denied at All-Star Weekend.

(Mike, you don't mind if use this thread as an 'I Heart KK' venue, right? It drives me crazy seeing so many new threads created that cover conversations we've already had numerous times...)
