Please just hold on to the lead Hawks. You've done it all season long so you can do it tonight too.

They took over 40 threes and hit quite a few. They were going to either come back or lose by 50.

We keep almost choking, I'd seriously like for us to develop that killer instinct and finish the game early when we're up by 15+

Also, there should not have been 1.2 seconds left on the clock: Horford touched the ball, it bounced and then he touched it again, that took way more than 0.8 seconds

That was the first full Atlanta game i've seen all season and i have to say you guys are legit. That first half was clinical. The defense and ball movement was flawless.
Detroit were very lucky to get it so close in the end.

Good luck with the rest of the season.

Not what I wanted to see. Disappointed with the fourth quarter but I will take the win.

Hawks are doing well. Especially defensively. It's unbelievable how dominant they have become on that side of the ball. All thanks to one fiery film session.

Makes me wonder why they weren't doing that before...

Either way. Another great win against another good team.

DET is a good team after dumping ol' Blockhead:

“The Pistons have been a top-three team both offensively and defensively since waiving he who shall NOT be named
Here

Our inability to consistently close out is becoming worrisome. But it's an issue to be dealth with moving forward.

Big AL definitely stepped up his game against a couple of tough young players.

Also: I lve KCP. Tonight was FAR from a great showing for him. But i think a backcourt of KCP and Dennis could be dominant defensively and very effectively offensively.

Greg Monroe would look awful good in a Hawks uni next season...

The Wizards are the one demon left to exorcise.

And we get to handle them next.

Teague will have his hands full...

I'm sorry but KCP has some of the worse shot selection I have ever seen and I am not just talking about this game. Yes he brought them back in this game by eventually hitting some of his horrible shots, but that doesn't change that they are horrible shots.

I have to agree. KCP was our MVP last night and his current style of play would be a horrible fit on this team. He doesn't know what the word pass means. He attempted 16 3's last night and only scored 20 points. Yuck.

I'm tired of seeing this team blow big leads but at least we are getting the leads and then still pulling the W. I cant complain much until we start losing a couple due to this. A win is a win and we grabbed another one last night. Now let's roll the Wizkids.

I won't argue. KCP has looked somewhat ragged of larte and needs to be reined in. But his skillset would be a perfect addition on our squad. An above average defender on the wing capable of actually creating his own offense. I think he could, with the right coaching, easily fill in the role that Denny Green does for SAS.

It's worth noting that since the blockhead was jettisoned, KCP has played a key role in what is possibly the 2nd best team in the East at this point. Playign tough D and helping see them to a 9-1 record in their last 10 games. He is struggling, but clearly he is doing something right on a team with a vet coach and renewed chance at making the playoffs.
