Miami definitely got better this year with the Dragic trade. They gave up a ton to do it though. They lose two first round picks for the right to bid on overpaying Dragic. They are going to have to give Dragic 18-20 mil per year, for 4 years, to keep him. That means they will be paying the combo of Dragic and Bosh around 40-45 mil per year over the next 4 years while having very few draft picks.

I think their lack of depth will be the downfall this year. That bench is non-existent and Wade can't play 38+ minutes per night anymore. I'm not sure if Deng can consistently play that much either and they will need those kind of minutes from them in the playoffs.

OKC I think won the deadline, gaining Kanter and finally dumping Perkins. But, how bad is KD hurt now?

in the East, im glad we didnt overreach on anything, but it makes the Payne trade all the more puzzling. Im anxious to see who makes it to our roster to fill the last spot

Ready to hear whether Ray Allen is interested in coming here.........the games are starting to pass quickly for him to be an impact in the playoffs.

That name sounds familiar. Did he play with us in the summer league?

Looks like he has some good size. Maybe he can come off the bench shooting hot right away instead of taking time to warm up like Jenkins. I wonder if the timing of this has to do with our upcoming schedule. After Cleveland, we have a 6 game stretch against scrub teams and he should get a chance for some decent PT.

Looks like what we typically go for , combo SF/SG types. Shooters and long guards. glad to see the roster spot used on someone ,lets see what the kid can do

No ray allen either

Allen: "I've ultimately decided that I will not play this NBA season." Allen, who will turn 40 in July, didn't rule out playing next season.
