What a game! Nothing is better than seeing that crybaby Lebron getting his butt handed to him by the local team. I wonder what excuse the media has for this loss?

And those uniforms were awesome, they should wear them more often.

Great team win! I'm so glad we got the win in these uni's. We should bring them back when the playoffs roll around.

Best team in the East by a wide margin.

I don't care what any one says, it's the damn truth!

Good game guys. You guys came to play tonight. You are the team to beat in the Eastern Conference. Congrats. You deserve it.

**** I enjoyed this game! Great retro jerseys, Nique's huge week, fans were fantastic. Players showed lot of heart to win this game.

Teague's block on Kyrie was spectacular!

Yeah and **** LeBron. :P He acts worse than our soccer players.

Great Statement win tonight. This shuts up all the Hawks critics who say that they don't have a star to win in the playoff, for a while.

I'm glad that Irving was healthy and played tonight. If he didn't play, they would have used that as a lame excuse to discount any win.

Player of the game is Carroll. His defense on Lebron was on par with Scotty.

Millsap showed why he is the Defensive Player of the Year in the NBA.

Horford made all of Cleveland's 7footers into a non factor, and out rebounded Mozgov and Love. Horford was just superior offensively and defensively and showed that he is way better than Love, and i'm glad the Horford and Wiggins trade never happened.

Teague was Teague as usual and dominated Kyrie again.

The best stat of the night is the Hawks 28% from three. It shows that they Hawks don't have to shoot well to dominate at team. They did it with elite defense and ball movement. That is very encouraging that the Hawks can win without shooting well, especially come playoff time.

Great overall night for the Hawks. Brooklyn loses, Toronto, and Chicago loses. As of now, the Hawk just need 9 more wins to clinch #1 in the east, but that number can go down if Chicago, Toronto, Washington, and Cleveland lose games on their own.

I agree with your entire statement with the exception of the Teague vs Kyrie matchup. If anything, I think Kyrie had a slight edge last night.
That being said, the Hawks did look great last night. I am baffled as to why the pundits have not christened them as favorites to win the East.

This was a great win by ATl. Love that the guys didn't get too high or celebrate too much after the win. I had to let things swirl around a couple of days afterwards, cause there was some concern from what I saw.

Brian Windhorst on SVP and Rusillo voices some of the same thoughts I've bandied about for the last couple of days.

Also giving me pause after Friday's big win: Mark Bradley of the AJC gives us the kiss of death.
The Hawks are really good. The Cavs are less good. If they meet in the playoffs, the Hawks will win then, too.

And then does it again in the Sunday column:
This is the team to beat in the East, and maybe not just in the East.

Also, I think it's important that we immortalize this picture of Coach Bud actually getting a bit animated in the all time annals of Hawks lore. mainly because it's simultaneously inspiring and ridiculous.

Personally, I value Windhorst's opinion very little. I've heard podcasts and seen shows with him in it and he doesn't come off as someone to go to for basketball knowledge.

Back on topic, I think this team's personality feeds off Coach Bud and you never see him that high after a win. There a tough road ahead and I think Coach Bud will keep this team hungry. Korver always seems to say in interviews that they know this isn't the playoffs and they still have a lot to prove.

That fool has rode Lebron's jock since high school. He will always side with the Lebron's since he would be a nobody without Lebron.
