I actually wish they would lose this game. They REALLY don't deserve the win. Maybe it will get some motivation in their heads to come out strong in game 4.

Brooklyn 7 steals, Fast break points: 2
Hawks 6 steals, Fast break points: 20

Out scored by 28 when playing half court offense. Pretty telling..

PT: Hawks/Nets - Round One

Post#183 » by ATL Boy » Sat Apr 25, 2015 9:27 pm

This entire series has been embarrassing. Up 2-1 or not, they've played like crap in every game. Bud needs to extend practice by an hour tomorrow and dedicate it to just jumpshots and Layups.

We stayed with our backups too long there. Missed alot of shots we usually make. Good game from Brooklyn but our effort was there, the shots weren't. I'm fine with that. I said Hawks in 5 and I stand by that.

We aren't going to beat anyone in the NBA when Korver/Teague/Horford/Schroder are 7-40 and Kyle is 0-6 from 3. It was just frustrating to see us go up 4 and give up an 18-0 run. Take care of business in game 4 and everything is okay.

Not in the first round against the Nets.......

A win is a win in the playoffs. You guys always played us hard even when we had championship quality teams and your best player was Josh Smith.

The Nets have star players. Lopez is no joke. Hollins isn't great but he does some things well. JJ can get hot.

We played the Cavs extremely close the last two games and forced LeBron to play heavy minutes. We will still lose the series.

You guys will win the series comfortably.

I told you that all the Hawks players should feel embarrassed and ashamed about how they played in game two, and now look what happen. Nobody is taking this seriously, and too busy patting themselves on the back.

This is just pathetic how the team is content on being a loser.

I haven't looked at the stats yet, but i wouldn't be surpised if the FG% was 16%. The Hawks were just playing lazy basketball and not caring, they were settling for jump shots over and over again, throwing up garbage, while the Nets were getting layups.

Worst player of the game is Al Horford. Every time the Hawks made a run, Al would just ruin everything by settling for a jump shot and throwing up garbage. Horford is suppose to be the leader of the team but just played like he didn't care about winning. At least Teague was trying.

Lol. Whatever. You are the one with this insane loser metality. Let me.go check the Warriors board to see if they were still whining after coming back from double digits and having to win in overtime....nope...how about the Bulls who needed 2 overtimes to beat a worse team...nah...how about the cava who have had to struggle to beat the Celtics in two games. Nope.

We didn't sweep by an average of 15 point wins...we clearly are losers.

We are 6-1 against the Nets this year. It was one of those days.

Teague trying? He over extended on defense, made costly turnovers and bad passes

Korver/Teague/Horford/Schroder were 7-40. We lost by 8. Calm down.

Playing bad does not equal lack of effort.

I may be just harder on people.

Nets are just a bad matchup, shoot 40% and we win.

Onto game 4

Exactly. I just keep seeing that we only lost by eight with 4 guys playing uncharacteristically bad. I'm confident.

But what is driving me crazy is the Teague floater...he isn't finishing around the rim, and ita all these little flips and floaters and its driving me insane. Dennis missed a ton today too, but at least he was going to the rim(when not taking weird, bad jumpers). Law of averages say those will start to drop. The floater...not so much.

I agree with that 10000%, take it to the rack. Stop this one handed floater bull. Same with MILLSAP man he missed a couple of DUCKS.

its ok though game 3 almost always competitive. Let's take care of biz game 4

I looked at the box score and it was telling. As bad as Teague was he was still +5 in the game. That stretch with Schroder to close the 3rd and start the forth was brutal with Dennis getting to -14 in the game.

I think Dennis will bounce back big in the next game.
