well, this is the guy I wanted the Hawks to draft at #21 in most mocks.... but damn, with Skal, Davis, Luwawu sitting there available, and with a similar-type of guy already in the fold with Prince.... I just don't get it

We literally have no clue how to draft guys. It's painfully obvious. Only way we will ever nail a draft pick is if we are picking in the top 3.

DeAndre Bembry is a good player, good pick at 21, the only problem is that Skal and Korkmaz are better players.

As of right now, our starting 5 is comprised of 3 guys who should be backups and one who has never been a starter before.

The Oklahoma City Thunder made it clear that Serge Ibaka could be had for the right price and it appears as though they've found the package that they were looking for.

According to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports' The Vertical, Ibaka has been traded to the Orlando Magic in exchange for Victor Oladipo, Ersan Illyasova and the rights to Domantas Sabonis.

Agreed.

Truth be told, I'd have been Kay moving Millsap and getting V Oladipo, #11 and Ilyasova.

That'd be a helluva haul for us to add to vets like Horford, Splitter, Korver and Thabo.

Who knows how far Deyonta Davis will fall.

Demetrius Jackson would be a good pick up for the Hawks if he is still around at #44.

Ivica Zubac, and Joel Bolomboy would also be good 2nd round picks.

Makes sense that we passed on any player that would contribute to our cap but we passed on Demetrius Jackson who would have been a solid pickup.

Well, we sold the 54th pick to Cleveland, and selected Kay Felder for them.
He must feel damn lucky right now.

I would have taken Payton Jr at 54, but i do like Felder more than Ulis. I think undersized scorers do better than undersized pure PGs.

Those undersized chuckers with low PG skills seem to transition or do well in the NBA, Isiah Thomas, Nat Robinson, Earl Boykins
