I'm secretly wishing they miss the playoffs. Unlikely I know but one can only dream. They should have just tanked all year long with this draft being good.

The teams behind them aren't helping. They are just as bad or even wore. The Hawks have lost 7 straight games but still remain in position #5 in the standings.

What we're seeing now is a complete lack of on court leadership.

A core of Dennis, THJ and Dwight looks very, very bad.

All things considered, it may go down as the single worst contract in recent Hawks history.

Losing doesn't feel good at any cost but without 2 of your most important players it's unavoidable sometimes. I'm kind of low key hoping the Hawks can get in the lottery this year, this class is absolutely loaded and maybe we get extremely lucky. What really do we expect even if we were to limp into the playoffs?

Even healthy this team ceiling is 2nd round exit, this ain't on Coach Bud, Wilcox, Bazemore or anybody else. It's a series of misfortunes Lemony Snickets. Sometimes you have to take a step or 2 back to leap forward.

No way this team makes it out of the first round.

I predicted that this is where we were headed at the end of the 60 win ECF beat down season. Even though I saw it coming; it still gets to me. The fact that they compiled on the problem so futilly was hard to watch. Feel bad for the players when they're out talented most games. It's going to get bad, fast.

It's crazy looking back how Dennis, Thabo and Baze were all backups on that '14-'15 team.

Unfortunately Bud didn't replace their production on the bench. Traded Mack and Holiday for nothing, they would have been nice this year. Prince was a nice pickup though.

Especially Millsap. He's going to walk for nothing.

I doubt any team would give up a real asset for Thabo. A 2nd round pick?

Now ATL got to overpay to keep a 6th man in Hardaway.

This is on Bud/Wilcox. Dwight is a bad fit. They should have paid Horford. They should have let Baze leave for the money like Carroll did. They should have got assets for Hardaway and Millsap when they had a chance.
