Playing against Portland and Memphis really hammered home how undersized we are. Gasol/Z-Bo and LMA/Lopez/Kaman made us look tiny and weak inside.

Stop hoarding all the good big men Western conference!

If we go for the Westen conference o-fer and sustain the .666 winning percentage against the East, we're in line for about 35 wins.

I'm sure we'll beat the Lakers.

It only means one thing -- BANNER 18!!!
Okay two things... they're going to Spain. Marc Gasol is from Spain. Hence, Gasol will be a Celtic in the offseason.

Also, I haven't been to Europe. How do I apply for a position with the team?

This is fascinating. Basketball Reference has a playoff odds calculator that takes all of their data daily and runs a 1000 simulated seasons based on it, and comes out with playoff and final standings projections. It has some noteworthy aspects for Celtics' fans.

Notably a 75% chance of making the playoffs with the most likely spot the 6th seed. They also currently project the Clips as 54.8% chance of making the playoffs and most likely finishing in the 9th seed.

So needless to say I think it's a job well done.

http://www.basketball-reference.com/fri ... f_prob.cgi

They don't say the exact methodology but assuming it is a mix of current record, margin of victories, strength of schedules, upcoming schedules, etc.

This is the year that we get the Clippers pick, right? This projection sounds pretty good to me. Who needs to miss the playoffs when the Clippers can do it for us?

Currently, 3 guards in the NBA playing 30 or more minutes per game score less than Rondo...

Well yes, they are from worst to Rondo; Eric Gordon (9.5PPG, 70%FT), Bogdanovic (9.6PPG, 85%FT), Lance Stephenson (9.8PPG, 64%FT), and Rondo (9.9PPG, 32%FT).

I think the Celtics just need that one game where everything clicks to get back on track. And yeah for as bad as its been we're only 1.5 out of the eighth seed still.

Cause the East is awful, I'm still not sure if I want the C's in the playoffs. They need to show some passion otherwise it'll be useless, they will only lose out on a draft pick.....

I'm gonna guess it's an original track by some unknown, so they can avoid paying royalties for a local commercial spot.
