I could tell you're confused when you doubted the Rondo trade. You can tell nobody misses him, including Tommy. But you're welcome on the bandwagon. Just tell the bouncer you're with Captain Palewhitesemite.

If we make the playoffs with these guys I will feel pretty good because it shows that our young players are good enough to win consistently.

This team, in general, really stepped up. But Kelly Olynyk gets it.

Wow. I could not believe it until I saw the standings.

We're still in the Playoff race! And the Bucks losing Jabari is definitely a big blow.

Off topic but enjoyed watching Pierce and the Wizards beat the Heat in Miami after the Celtics game ended. Pierce had a key tip-in to take a 2 point lead late and at the end of the game Wade was hugging some opponents and looking around but guess who wasn't there to shake his hand?

THE TRUTH. F Wade.

Pretty sure we could take 2 or 3 games from Toronto or Washington who are the 1 and 2 seeds right now. That's if Danny doesn't ship out Green for the first bag of peanuts he gets offered.

You do realize that you can like and miss Rondo and STILL be a Celtics fan? I guess no.

If we are rolling by the deadline I would love to trade for Joe Johnson. Bradley,Bass, Thornton and a pick for Joe Johnson.

Definitely! And our playoff hopes this year may very well depend on whether or not we trade Green. And if we do, for what.

But I hope he remains with us.

You can also be a fan while trashing our entire roster up and down, while dreaming about Greg Monroe and Rudy Gobert.

Another common form of fandom is to insist in the most exaggerated fashion that the safest way to a Championship (banners ONLY) is to make the team as bad as possible. For 40 years if necessary.

And yet (accurately) predicting success for our players and our team is almost universally derided as "trolling".

So call me a big troll, but I'll compare my fanhood to anybody's and match up favorably.

Sincerely,

On The Money Troll

Hey, texas celtic.

I mean, NL41.

I mean arambone.

I mean, whatever you're calling yourself now. Can you just not be so obnoxious? You single-handedly pull this whole board down.

I don't know about everyone else, but I will never ever root for losses under any circumstances. I want this team to win. In fact I would've ignored a bunch of people earlier today even for mentioning the word 'tanking' if I knew how to ignore people.

Anyway, that's just my opinion.

It was a joke

However, I would expect Ainge to trade the rest of the vets, there is no reason for Green/Bass to be on this team anymore.

I don't think Bass can fetch much. Would be against Green trade unless we get another pick or something. I would just as soon be the 7 seed. If we can't get No. 1 pick, at least lets get young players some playoff experience.

I tried to tell you guys in one of the Rondo threads that we were closer to being the 5th seed than we were to being bottom 5.

Depending on what your stance is, it's one of the perks/cons of being in this conference

KO was incredible. He's like a completely new player. That dribble hand-off 3 was a dagger from the stone cold hands of an assassin.

I guess it helps that he's been going up against Philly/Orlando/Minny but still, great to see.

I still take it as a positive sign because he's dominating the competition that he should be playing great against.

Voted KO, nice win but Miami is a better test to see how we will fare in the post Rondo era.
