Cavaliers 130 @ Celtics 86 Post-game Notes (0-2)

Post#1 » by truth18 » Sat May 20, 2017 2:54 am

Boxscore: http://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400953695

A historic night for Cleveland: largest playoff margin of victory in franchise history, highest scoring playoff game in franchise history, 13 playoff wins in a row tying the Lakers and LeBron ties MJ's consecutive 30pt game record.

I'm not sure what else to say.

Well that didn't go as planned. From the sweetest highs to the lowest lows this week.

We weren't winning the title anyway, but god damn if it isn't disheartening to see a team you've rooted for all year get thoroughly dispatched by a much more talented team. At least Jaylen is taking advantage of his opportunities. Brad absolutely cannot deny him in games 3 and 4, and looking ahead to next season. Dude should be in the 30+ minutes range.

Jaylen smokes the effort cigar. He deserves it.

I would celebrate if the Celtics lose by under 15 points in either of these next 2 games. Honestly really disappointed by IT and Horford giving us nothing in the first 2 home games.

I really enjoy Shaq joking and clowning when his fat ass might have cost the Celtics an 18th title because he got shot by a sniper. And then he'll turn around and shout out how great Boston is and the Celtics being a great franchise.

The whole Inside the NBA show has gone to **** over the last few years.

"Fun" Fact (forget about context for a second): Jaylen Brown is only the 3rd 20-yo (or younger) to score at least 19 points in a Conference Finals game since 1964. Magic Johnson (3x) and Darryl Dawkins were the other two. He's the only reserve to do so.

They clown everybody. No reason to take it personal IMO. I mean, we lost by 50 tonight. This is just the TNT crew doing what they've always done (and what has gotten them multiple Emmy awards).

Good thing you qualified it. :) 9 of those game in Q4. Still, better to see than not see!
