That putback dunk by Olynyk decided it for me, but Crowder was close. Good win against a team who is direct competition for a playoff spot.

Maybe things will balance out, but looks like no one is slipping in to the Eastern Conference Playoffs under .500 this year. Gotta keep getting wins like this one.

Some players are wired that way and have a difficult time coming off the bench. I am hoping that KO can keep this up because he is adding A LOT to that first unit.

KO started at the beginning of last season and then had his spot taken by Zeller. His inconsistencies isn't a correlation to the amount of minutes or whether he is starting.

Yeah, Brad abandoned the KO/Sully frontcourt, but history kind of points to Rondo and Green as the reasons why that thing tanked. Disagree on your second point.

What? Rondo and Green nothing to do with Kelly getting benched. The KO/Sully front court was horrific on defense. It was a sieve with those two on the court.

If one replaces Crowder with Jeff Green, Boston's defense probably suffers a serious significant setback right now....

I certainly strongly disagree with the notion that KO is an excellent defender that someone has asserted but that being said Jeff Green was a problem on defense. Rondo often didn't guard his man but at least he rebounded the basketball very well for a PG. I'm ok with perimeter players not grabbing a lot of boards if they really guard well on the perimeter but Green wasn't doing that.

As much as I said Rondo was overrated, Green was holding the Celtics back on the defensive end more than Rondo last year.

I issued my apology to Bradley, and in time I might also issue my apologies to KO for not being a believer :(

I'm glad that these guys are proving me wrong.

Anyone recall someone saying Olynyk isn't athletic?

KO for me, tho Jae was close. Kelly was good on both ends, 20 pt on 10 shots is the way to do it. Jae frustrated the hell out of the guys he was guarding and made some big jumpers, even if he couldn't buy a 3.

I'm not adding anything new, but agree with split Crower\KO decision. Wanted to go KO for the putback & efficiency, but eventually went Jae for being in the right spot the entire game.

Was really hoping RJ would hit one of those 3s to get him to double digits, but other than shooting, great game. Actually made some moves with\without the ball - starting to become a rookie AB clone on those back door cuts!

I think that high flying Canadian Goose jam was especially for all his detractors...best find a ticket and get on that Olynyk bus before it runs you over...

Respect for Jae Crowder too....Love what this man does consistently every night.....

Smile....Merry Christmas to all.... :)

I don't see how attacking Green relates to Kelly being benched one month into last season.

The only way the front court of Sully and KO would have worked was if the Cs starting unit was destroying other teams on offense to offset their bad defense.

Now, with improved defense from both Sully and KO, it might work this time around. The truth is that Zeller was a better rim protector last season and outplayed KO for that starting spot.

KO is more experienced and comfortable on the floor now. Starting to seem like the game has slowed down for KO and he is able to be himself out there.
We shall see. 2 for 2 as a starter. I like what im seeing
