Needed that win badly, hopefully Tatum has gotten some of his mojo and confidence back.

A stellar coaching effort from Joe Mazz too, esp usage of time outs and coaches challenges.

Good way to end a torrid road trip.

JT looked like he was starting to get his groove back which is good. Road trip still has two games incl a b2b in Salt Lake City.

We needed this.
Decent W VS good team w/o Book.
Durant was in God mode scoring.

After 4 horrible halves, in spite of 4 TOs & overall inefficient shooting, JT woke up during the second half & finished w 29-10-7 & 5-9 from 3!
#7 was very very good except for MORE missed FTs & some forced shots as usual.
Al shot horribly except for the hugely CLUTCH 3 at the end, & 12 R.
Derrick was solid as a rock on both ends.
So was Jrue - w some important threes.
Pritch was ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. So was Luke - absent Zinger.
And Bubbles actually called some appropriate TOs - there must have been a gun to his head.

49-14

No reason not to finish the RT wiping the floor w the Blazers & Jazz on Mon & Tues.

Then a 4 games homestand w the Suns*, Wiz, Pistons, & BUCKS***!

Thank God they won. I wasn’t watching anymore Celtics games until Monday if they lost.

KD was on fire the whole game, except when it mattered the most.

Al and JT were off shooting the ball until it was closing time.

That's why it's ridiculous to make such a big deal out of that Denver loss.

This Suns team is not a joke.

KD had 45 and Beal had 25.

But it was not even close.

Suns are like 5-7 without Booker.

This was a 5 pt game and the Suns missed 3 wideee the **** open three’s with like 3 minutes left lmao

Somebody help this man.

I thought we should not be making excuses?

What if KP played in this game?

Are you forgetting that KP is averaging 20 ppg this season?

Like I said, no one forced you to say the Celtics will lose this one.

Just man up and admit that you were wrong.

This interview is semi-appropriate for the thread title. Kornet really should win VC but you're all mid to acknowledge it.

I mean the backtracking alone will total at least 1 page.

Dunno if this includes today, but Kornet single big lineups have outscored opponents by 8.3 pts per 100 possessions. 90th percentile. The crew Joe loves to run with him the most -- PP/Jrue/Hauser/Tatum -- is +34.3 per 100. LOL.

Our starting lineup today: -7 in 20 minutes
The bench lineup above w/ Kornet: +7 in 12 minutes

Can't we enjoy a pretty gusty win against a team that is still stacked talent wise and has a intimidating home court crowd (shout out to the Celts die-hards and expats who went to the game)

The mental pressure and expectations our team, esp Tatum were under going into this game was probably higher than many of us could possibly understand.

And at the important moments, the Jays pased their test with flying colours.

Of course they made mistakes and still have areas to grow and improve on, but this was the performance and response from Jayson in the 2nd half we needed.

Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion and critical comments and critiques.

The players (even the all time greats) sometimes have off days and cannot be expected to play 48 minutes of flawless Hoops.

We shouldn't take Buffalo for granted. His defensive prowess and shot blocking ability for a player his size is absolutely awe inspiring.

He is my current favourite Celtic because he has all the intangibles and fearless defensive effort and grit that Bill and Larry had, and what Red Auerbach built our franchise upon.

So wish Red was still around to watch Derrick play..he would have absolutely loved him.
