It's good to see the trolls stopping by. Tony insults Pierce on the general board, but acts nice when they come here. I find that a bit odd.

Right and just like you called me out on the G.B I replied back to you and you were no where to be found. Im sorry if you disagree with my posts but for starters.
I posted a thread about KMart drinking the same juice that Paul Pierce has been drinking and that was on Sat, and then I saw the Cavs-Magic game and then I post a reply on your thread on your board on Sunday and since you didnt read my reply on G.B or maybe you did and your still trying to throw me under the bus then here is your reply as well as my post on here and I hope it can clear things up and even if it doesnt then Im sorry if you still consider me a troll. But please feel free to read and to confrom my reply feel free to visit the G.B and see when I post that thread. Ya you got me all wrong, I say it as I see it, I have no reason to blow smoke up anyones rear, Im not here for popularity contest and I know Im not the best poster here but Im as honest as I can be, and I hope this time you will reply back since if you call me out on something I man up and I reply I expect the same from you or whoever that disagrees or feels Im wrong.

Here you go.

Celtsfan1980 wrote:Tony, you act all nice to the Celtics on our board but insult them on this one. Two different identities? He should be entitled to his opinion so I'm not going to complain.

Funny I didnt know addressing P.P remarks was considered an insult to the Cs as a whole, I addressed one individuals remark which he has a bad habit of labeling himself as the best player in the game etc. My post was addressed to one player not your franchise, so why are you getting upset at me.
I love how you took my remark and flipped it and tried to make me into a bad guy or a two face.
YET I posted this thread on Sat and then on Sunday AFTER THE CAVS loss I went on your board and posted this, so please feel free to address this post as well while your at it.

Why don't you get lost and leave it to your betters on the LA board like Tony and Deep3 to come over? At least they have something to offer. Just showing up and throwing in your little one line digs all the time is pretty lame.

Thanks BIG HOMIE, but all I have to add is that, Im so glad is The Cavs and Lebron got their asses handed to them. It just shows who the true champions are. No matter what happened between us or between both of our teams and captains we have always showed love for one and other even when the better team won last year and you guys earned every bit of that title. You guys showed what a ture champion is and is suppose to be.

Even this year less K.G you guys had more heart passion and desire than the entire Cavs team did agaisnt the Magic. I did address the "If K.G wasnt injured you guys wouldve been in the finals" and I laugehed at Paul Pierce remark, but I take that back now after watching the Cavs lay down agaisnt the Magic.
I think you guys were the better team in the East if you had K.G and I only say that because of the fact NO MATTER HOW MUCH I DISLIKE K.G............ He has heart and he wants to win at no cost and he has his own way of leading the Cs in everyway he possibly can.

After the Cavs lost and the way King Crab took a dump on his own teammates and everybody else, I now dispise him and I hope he will never see a championship in his life, he is a sore loser and he will never lead by example and its a shame that peps are labeling him as the next Jordan, cause even Jordan had class and walked up to his opponenets and shook their hands.
Anyways Mangs I hope you guys get K.G back healthy and I hope you guys get back on track for contention next year.

I know how bad you guys hate us (Lakers) as we have the same feelings towards you but one thing is clear, there will never ever be any team in the NBA history that will ever have the love and hate realtionship that our teams and fans have for one and other. There will never ever be epic battles like we have witnessed in our lives between these two teams and fans.
We are winning the Chip this (I hope  ) and if we do it sets the table yet again for these two franchises to go back and forth with finals appearnces and titles JUST LIKE HISTORY HAS WITNESSED.

Good luck to you guys and I can honeslty say that with K.G you guys were the better team in the east. But as far as the best team this year............... You know I got love for you guys BUT THE BEST TEAM IS THE LAKERS..................................

I don't feel like bumping old threads up. I don't come onto real gm all that often. I did come in on yesterday morning to look at that thread and you had not responded. My biggest issue was that you mocked the Celtics for not winning in 22 years. Let's say Magic Johnson had died just like Len Bias did. The Lakers more than likely don't win one Championship in the 1980's if that had happened. I'll be the first one to send my sympathies if the Lakers lose a potentially great player or a great player like Boston did, and I expect the same in return. They had very bad luck over those years and I think it's ridiculous to mock a team like that.

CF come on brah, your jumping thread to thread and posts to post.
When K.G went down I was very respectful and I came on here as well as G.B and I even called out some Laker fans for their remarks. Kefa is a witness to that as well as other attacks on the Cs. Now your going back in history and bringing up a lot of things with the what ifs and if so and so.
If you talking about post to post and the one you called me out on and you are addressing then here is the post brah.

Ya I do, Cs fans have reminded us well over 340,948,584,330,444 times since the season started.
I also remember how long it took for him and the Cs franchise to get a title, your remember that too??? Oh and lets remember the three titles too while we are at it.

A lot happens on this board and I never said anything directed to the Cs Org, but I did use P.P "We are the better team" remark and i did come on here even though it was off topic I did address who I felt the was the better team was IF they had K.G and I addressed that after watching Lebron and the Cavs lay down to the Magic.

Now you want to bring up a Cs fan with his post that I quoted and me talking smack to him as me bashing the Cs??????? Come on brah. I have said the samething on here many many times. How am I bashing the Cs????
So your okay with me saying the better team won last year cause of this and that but yet Im bashing your team for saying it took you guys 22 years to win? So one statement is the truth since it makes you guys look good and one statement which is the truth is considered bashing you guys.

As far as what happen to Magic, Ya brah its sucked and we have gone through a lot just like you guys as well as other franchises, its part of the game and history of this game. I know cause I felt like crying when I heard Magic was ill. Same went for when Shaq left LA. For me Shaq loss was bigger than Magic cause we had so much more to win if they sorted their problems out and Magic didnt have a choice but Shaq did. Sorry Brah if you took my post the wrong way, but again I say it as I see and nothing I said was an insult to you your team or anyone in general.
Im not a kid even thought I B.S around a lot, but I reply and respect people as they respect me.
I hope you can understand that if not then take my word for it.

You and every Cs fan care about my team as much as I care about yours. If we fail then you guys are happy. When the Cs won last year I hated the Cs and Im sure now that we are in the finals you guys want us to lose and you hate the fact that your not in the finals, its all part of the game. Im a fan of my team as you are of yours, but outside the game the peps I met on here no matter which board they come from Im cool with outside of basketball. When it comes to Basketball I root for my P&G. You do the same, but off topic there are a lot of cool peps on here as well as all my brahs on the Lakers board which I happen to be personal friends off this board with as well.

I can careless about either Orlando or the Lakers and Cleveland if it weren't Orlando. For me, I loathe Kobe. I don't want him to succeed. I wish he could go away forever from the NBA. I almost got my wish: No LeBron, no Kobe. Thanks a lot for nothing Denver. If ever there were a time for there to be a Superman. It's now. It's up to Dwight Howard to take down Kobe. Ugh. Goddamn you Nuggets. You bleeped it up! Because now I've to begrudgingly pull for the Magic. Talk about adding insult to injury. Boston's season's over and Kobe gets to keep playing. As if the league would allow both he and LeBron not to make the NBA Finals. Big shocker, huh?

It's very very very very bad because if they win the championship it become narrow the gap between the Celtics and Lakers in championship title.

I'm rooting for the Lakers this time around 8-)

I have nothing against the Magic, well except for how annoying Stan Van Gundy's voice is, but you know the saying... Kobe Bryant ALL DAY.

As a non-Celtics fan, I'd imagine every Celtics fan would want to see the Lakers lose for one big reason, and not just because they're the Lakers.

Because they lost to the Magic.

It's a hell of a lot easier to say that you lost to the eventual NBA Champion, (especially when you acknowledge injuries), than to lose to the team that lost to the NBA Champion. At least here you could make an argument that you were actually the second best team in the league (I suppose you could anyhow, but you know what I mean), especially if the Magic happened to win in less games. From a cognitive dissonance perspective, I'd be hoping the Magic walk all over the Lakers and then pray for good physical recovery in Boston.

What I was referring to was if the Lakers had lost a great draft pick like Magic shortly after the draft like the Celtics did with Len Bias. Bias was compared to Michael Jordan a lot. If Bias comes close to his potential it could have been one or two additional Championships. If he reaches his potential, you could be talking about 3-5 additional Championships. Magic was past his prime when he retired. The Lakers had lost in 5 to the Bulls. They didn't put up much of a fight and Magic and Worthy were getting even older. Even with a healthy Magic they likely never win a Championship. It's a tragedy but it didn't hamper your franchise the way Bias' death did with Boston. The Lakers didn't get rid of anything to acquire Shaq so you were lucky to even have him. If the Lakers had stayed in Minneapolis, Kareem goes to the Knicks, Shaq never becomes a Laker, and Kobe likely doesn't become a Laker either. Other than losing Magic, the Lakers have had far more luck than any other franchise so I don't see the comparisons.

That would be the national media and fans' perception of things. Conversely, I would imagine most Celtics fans don't want the Lakers to win the championship this season because 1) the Phil Jackson versus Red Auerbach argument, 2) Kobe winning a championship without Shaquille O'Neal and 3) with a championship this season, the Lakers move even closer to catching up to Boston's lead for most NBA championships all time. These are valid and more accurate reasons to why (if you're a Celtic fan) you aren't rooting for the Lakers to win another NBA title. And not necessarily because you want Orlando to win to justify losing in the playoffs to them. That's hogwash. It's BS, in my opinion. Because that's not my point of view on this topic, not at all. I dislike Kobe Bryant. Plain and simple. I never wrote anything about not wanting the Lakers to win or what have you. I'm indifferent about the the Los Angeles Lakers franchise as I'm about every other NBA franchise. It's just that Kobe plays for the Lakers so it's becomes more coincidental than an outright dislike for the Lakers and their fans personally. Ditto for Shaq. I dislike Shaq. The only active player I dislike more than Kobe. No matter which team he plays for, my loathing of him remains the same. Hence, my point about Kobe. If the Lakers win, which I think they will. Then they win. Whatever. I just hate that Kobe gets to win too.

The only reasons I want the Lakers to lose, besides my eternal and undying hatred for them as a lifelong C's fan, are:

1) Currently, C's 17 titles, Lakers 9....winning gets them to within 7...

2) I hate Phil Jackson and the cheap way he's amassed those titles vs how Red did it...would be a travesty...

3) I hate Kobe and his A-Rod-esque personality and all of the fake "good teammate" BS, a lot of which is perpetrated by MFing ESPN...

4) Did I mention I hate the Lakers? They have had hardly any lean years in their history, which is shocking...even the Yankees had down years, and Lord knows our C's did...it almost seems unfair, although playing in a glitzy and media-loved market like LA makes it more unsurprising...

Tony, CF, it's alright boys, let it go. Just an internet board. A little s#!t talking every once in a while never hurt anyone.

Top 10 reasons to root against the Lakers:

10. Kobe doesn't get to win without Shaq

9. Sascha doesn't get a ring

8. ESPN's shockingly faulty prediction record continues to embarrass

7. SVG is a bit of a douche but at least not as arrogant as Phil

6. The Lakers Trophy count remains at safe distance behind the Celtics

5. Phil doesn't eclipse Red's trophy count

4. We lost to the eventual champ

3. It took the eventual champ 7 games to beat us without Powe and KG

2. The NBA and ESPN's annoying Kobe-Bron hype machine comes to a disastrous hault

1. It's LA. What the f#!*k! What Boston Celtics fan would not want them to lose? Forget the other 9 reasons. Have you lost your minds people?? A true Celtics fan will always root against the Lakers. Go on Orlabdo, BEAT LA.

Now with Cleveland and the Lebron hype out of the picture its pretty much a done deal who C's fans are rooting for.. Before it was a can't win situation. Now Orlando is an easy team to get behind. They have less hype and win with team play..

Orlando beating on Cleveland is the kind of reason I watch sports. I am delighted to be wrong (I totally thought Cleveland would roll - even when they went down 3-1) But was even more delighted the that the Lebron loving media got bypassed. Lebron even cemented our dislike with his classless sore loser act..

I wish the media and the NBA would stop trying to make guys heroes based on regular season scoring titles.. And let the real guys be crowned via their play. The NFL does this better. Tom Brady got hype because he won championships...

Return to Boston Celtics
