I wonder how all those t-shirts liked the game. On the one hand, they got to watch for free. On the other hand, they had to stay until the end. Well, until one dude scooped up 30 of them at once.

The playoffs is just different.

Heat giving the Cs a hard time only helps the Cs in the long run.

Only other team that might give the Cs trouble is NY.

But Mitchell Robinson is injured.

Looking like another Philly vs. Boston matchup.

It’s why I was encouraged by tonight, Celtics played through insane physicality, and just ended up overwhelming Miami with their size.

I would have been similarly encouraged by any kind of blowout, probably. Cs are back on track.

I just get sick of Tatum sucks, Brown is horrible, Mazzulla is the worst and oh by the way the Celtics won by 20. Who wants to be a part of that?

Neither Love nor Robinson got a shot up. Each was -9 in short minutes.

What?

There will be games that Tatum will need to empty the clip

KP finally getting some real playoff experience.

The hard work in the regular season is paying off.

KP starting the game knocking down 2 3s is a good sign.

Guess we'll have to get used to this not so high, not so low mentality that JT and this team has.

You're not wrong, but that's really not needed with this group.

Maybe when the Cs didn't have KP and Jrue.

But this team has so many players who can make shots.

If JT is making the right passes and it turns into points, that's sort of JT emptying the clip.

One thing I will say, I didn’t see much drop coverage tonight. Hooray!

KP and Big Al did a great job getting out to shooters tonight

The people who do won't be posting here today so don't expect answers.

Also, even though we had a historically great offense, I still believe this team goes as far as their defense takes them in the playoffs. We have all the potential to be the best defense in the playoffs but don’t play well consistently on that end for some reason.

Tonight, it was great and we won comfortably even though our offense was nothing special. I would
be really happy if the team keeps this up every game for the rest of the series

100%.

That's why I'm not gonna say Luka is better than Tatum.

Defense is vital in the playoffs.

Cs made just two more threes than the Heat on lower percentage. Our stingy defense was activated today. We forced turnovers, stayed home on shooters, and cleared glass. Predictably, Heat scrubs not as great when they put the ball on the floor (though that Jaquez guy knows how to play). That's what won the game for us. And that's what it will take to win the title.

Celtics in 5.

The general board has been fun but frankly I'm disgusted by some of your efforts. I'm over there getting flamed for stating the obviously and ain't no body over there backing me up.

Why go to the GB when this is our home?

Happy to see the D, DWhite and KP bounce back, can add in Jrue for his D. When they defend as a team hard to beat

Yeah, they were much more conscious of Herro in particular. For awhile they were switching 1-3 on him to keep the threes in check.
