Really not concerned with the outcome of the game, obviously hoping for a win but after facing Miami last night and the guys playing big minutes, and the hawks having days off prior.. it may just be a scheduling win for them

still, heading into the playoffs as potential first round opponents it would be nice to get the win

Sean Grande: Mickael Pietrus has been cleared to play and, wait for it, will play limited minutes tonight. More to come...

If true, Welcome back MP!

Wait.. what?

I dont think so, I saw celtics reporters earlier saying MP was getting shots up but still has multiple concussion tests left before he can do anything

Now the bad news :(

Sean Grande: And Ray Allen (ankle) will not play tonight. So Bradley will start, Pietrus is available and Ray Allen is out. Strange night already.

I don't understand why we wouldn't rest Allen until he is fully healed? I don't want him to aggravate his ankle and have him miss the playoffs.

Yeh it is a little worrying, though it could just be something that can flare up after heavy activity regardless... so last nights game and the extended minutes in the 2nd/4th causing some pain today and dont want to push it further

might be something that needs to be cleaned up in the off-season. anyone seen details on it?

I blame Doc Rivers. 34 minutes for Ray yesterday! 25 for Bradley! Ray played the entire 2nd quarter and the entire 4th quarter..that's two straight 12 minute runs. He played the last 17 minutes of the 1st half straight and I belive the last 17 minutes of the 2nd half also! Way to go Doc you **** moron.
A new dawn will rise in Boston. ‎#StayLoyal THANK YOU TRUTH!

Yep I just posted a thread about it for everyone to see. So glad to see Pietrus back tonight!

If things go sour, you bet people will be out. However, Ray is out so that eliminates a lot of the bulk of the issues because we won't see peek a boo.

Great news about Pietrus! I'm kind of worried about Ray though, his injuries are coming out of no where these days. I think he should take a couple of games off maybe those back-to-back-to-back games since we should be able to beat those teams. We need him at full strength for the playoffs. Can't afford to lose players as playoffs are approaching.

Home crowd should be fired up with an 8 oclock tip and coming off of that win last night. Haven't even thought of the crowd that much this season, but I expect it to be somewhat of a factor if we show signs early. Rondo's a bit of a wildcard, but my memory tells me that Bradley has looked sharp in other back to backs. Atlanta's probably looking for revenge after we beat them in their house a while ago.

Anyone know why tonight's game is an 8:00 p.m. tip off?

Man they are sloppy to start. Handed them 6 points on unforced turnovers.

Not a bad start considering the Celtics look tired. This is going to be a mental toughness game. Celtics look dead.

They've really gotta stop calling those on Bradley where he beats the driver to the spot and then the offensive player crumples to the ground due to loss of balance. Some officials are informed and some are not.
