KG gets the cig , but Rondo is playing very consistant BB . not much up and down to RR's game lately . Kudos to MD and Dooling . Game 4 should be monumental . GO C's .

I think this series is showing me for sure that we were legitimate contenders last year until Rondo had his elbow rearranged. The guy can really turn it up a notch in the playoffs. I'll take those nights in Toronto where he doesn't give an effort if he will continue to look this good in the playoffs.

KG...I love that man. Hasn't even been that long and his number retirement will be tear-inducing for sure!

Wow. That's just a ridiculous disparity.

Tyson Chandler over KG for DPOY, still?

The voters must have spent too much time around Ron Artest's elbows.

Rondo salted away the game with timely jumpers and sneaky layups in the 4th quarter at a time when we were otherwise struggling to score against Miami's 5 wing lineup. Rondo's been doing a lot of scoring in the 4th during this playoff run, mostly unnoticed, and it's something few thought he had in his game. As it turned out, all he needed was the opportunity and he's showing it this year. I know Paul's been doing it for years, but in my mind I want the ball in Rondo's hands at the end of the game--his decision-making is that good.

Also, the NBA better rescind KG's bogus 4th quarter tech for that supposed 'elbow' to Mario Chalmers. Chalmers clearly flopped and the replay showed there was NO CONTACT. If they ever get around to legislating flopping out of the game (like Stern claims he does), it's exactly the kind of flop Chalmers pulled that should carry a mandatory one game suspension for intentionally deceiving an official. The guy even winked afterwards, that's how brazenly these guys flop nowadays. It needs to stop.
The leaks are real...the news is fake.

I'm just here for the memes.

Rondo was our leading scorer and rebounder in the 4th quarter tonight with 8-4.

This coming after the last game where he was also the only Celtic to score in overtime with 12 points. Pretty impressive.

C's have found a Formula now....Let's hope they stick with it---Go to KG in the Paint---EVERY Time down...I don't think he took more than 2-3 outside shots tonight...Plus, Dooling and Daniels in for Defense really helped.

Win Game 4....and Bosh WILL be back for Game 5-----just in time to PHUKK up Miami's Chemistry--!!

Also, I really think the Refs bent over backwards---to make sure they called an even game for both teams tonight....there were a few bogus calls----but seemed to be fair, not one-sided.

Rondo was awesome but this sums it all up. We are a completely different team with KG on the bench. Defense gets worse and my nails get shorter. Th man impacts the game in so many ways.

Rondo

If I need to choose between 33 minutes of rondo or garnett i'll take garnett. But rondo gives us 44 minutes, and will go 48 or 53 if we need him while kg just cant. So for me its rondo. His young legs and ability to take so much minutes is what makes us play in june snd still win...

Between them, Rondo and KG had:

Less than 1/3 of the team's minutes.
Exactly 1/2 the team's FGs.
Almost 1/2 the team's FT attempts.
Almost 1/2 the team's offensive rebounds.
Over 1/2 the team's assists.
Exactly 1/2 the team's TOs.

They were a two-man box score.

Add in Pierce, and you account for a little less than 1/2 the minutes overall, and large majorities of almost every stat.

KG for me. Altered the game in a way that only legends can do. Rondo was a tough choice too though. Kid has been remarkable. Hope they repeat the effort on Sunday.

Still would have voted Rondo, but Marquis really deserved to be an option. I'm hoping we see more of him in Game 4 and let Ray get some extra rest rather than more 35+ MPG games.

This is a team minus Bass VC but I'm giving it to Rondo because of the George Hill for Rondo trade talks...
