Allen was our last shot to get a solid sg to start until bradley is back and then possibly slide into a 6th man role through the playoffs.

Now our team is pretty much set besides the addition of a few guys like dooling, wilcox, steamer, ect.

correct, losing ray we lose that salary spot for nothing now with no way of adding to it. Unless we sign and trade kristic, that would be something, lol. Danny will now resign peaches, sign green, and maybe use the bi annual signing for some lesser known roll player, this also greatly increases the chance of droooling coming back as well.

Hey, we are SOL. Bradley is a smallish 2-guard 100 percent healthy, and, we are without a starting shooting guard on this team.

Ainge knew this, he has to have plan C going somehow. We don't have a classic shooting guard on this team.

AB is a combo, as is Terry, and Pierce is a SF.

Honestly, I would have been ok with Ray going to any other team, the Bulls, the Knicks, even the Lakers, but by joining the Heat he has singlehandedly destroyed the slim chance Boston had of getting past the conference for probably the next 10 years.

There's been at least a couple people try to make that claim. It is so far away from being that bad because 1) yes, the Heat are our "rivals" right now but the Lakers are always our rivals. 2) Bird/McHale/Parrish were basically here from day 1 on. Ray Allen has spent practically 5 years or so with every team he's been on.

Let's keep things in perspective.

Hey guys, lets show people that we are better fans than that and show our appreciation for the things he did when he was here. Neither the organization or its fans has any right to criticize the guy we yanked around with trade rumors the last few years. Instead we should thank him for all the great memories and clutch game winning shots he provided us. I was never his biggest fan but I will miss him.

Ray Allen is a good player. He is the All-time 3-point shooter. He is also in the top 5, for free-throws.
We had fun, while it lasted. He's still Tops.

This one hurts. Being a UConn fan, I have been a Ray fan for a long time like a few folks on this board.

I simply HATE that he cut his balls off like the rest of the Miami clowns. It just seems like a slap in the face that he signs with that team.

At the end of the day he did earn that right, so it is difficult to fault him much.
