I'm a sixer fan first & foremost, but my best friend is a Celtics fan. We are argue about whether blatche would be a good fit on your team. He he doesn't want that cancer on his team . but I remind him Zach Randolph was once considered a cancer and got it right.

I think its a low risk high reward. Dude has a ton load of talent. I think on a team with ur veteran presence, and the KG influence. He could be the perfect big man to complete your frontcourt. He maybe able to be salvaged and what better way to do it than having KG as his mentor.

Has he been amnestied? I'd take him in a heartbeat if he was. There is a reason he is an amnesty candidate, but I do not think he is the cancer he gets credit for being. And he is still young with obvious talent.

ETA by the stats, ignoring last season I have him as a quality player 2009-2011 who had shown improvement since entering the league. He could have just been out to earn a contract but I feel his troubles last year were more lockout / bad situation related moreso than him sucking after he earned his contract. Not that last season reflects well on him and not that I say that with confidence, but for cheap he is very low risk.

Supposedly he will be amnestied tomorrow by Washington.

The only benefit I could see in signing him is being able to then cut him. This would allow us to roll out the 'addition by subtraction' line, and claim to have improved our team.

Wiretap says he is "likely " to be amnestied. I think he has a lot of talent, but he won't make it off of waivers IMO. KG and him aren't the best of buds either. There was talk at the last trade deadline that he might be available. In the right system he may flourish.

He's beat KG's ass 3 times, like a real beat down.
1. I don't know if I want KG being worn down in practice by this guy
2. He's a cancer and I don't want him near our young guys.
