I wouldn't sign Andray Blatche if he payed us. He also has the weirdest NBA body I've ever seen. He looks like a fat kid from a comic book but can then drive hard to the hole and smash it on someone. But nah, he'd rather jack up 20 long jumpers a game. He f*cking stinks.

if we can get him why wouldn't you sign him? He would instantly be the second most talented big man on our roster after KG and if there's anyone in the league who could harness Blatche's talent and get him to play the right way it's KG. We're going to lose steamer and hollins and JJJ and williams haven't shown much. Blatche has size and can score. he needs to get in better shape and learn how to play within a system but the guy is talented. I think he's a lamar odom type of player and could pay big dividends if we can get him to buy into a role.

I don't think that article casts him in a terrible light. A lot of players in the NBA get contracts they don't deserve because people overreact to one good season. I feel like Blatche is at a point where he is currently not getting the credit he deserves simply due to one bad season (last season). Last season was out of character for him compared with his previous 2-4 seasons. And it was a lockout shortened season for a bad team with issues, especially at the beginning of the season, that had nothing to do with Blatche.

I'm not saying the guy is a consummate pro, but I am saying I am a big fan of signing him for cheap. Back to '10-11 form with a better reputation the guy is worth 10 mil per season.

So...I read through the article, and found it very amusing actually.
Things like refusing to enter a game are just massive redflags, and confirm in my mind that we're speaking about an 8 year old mind in a 6'11" body.

But this one?

1. Fake Andray Blatche

This one goes in the “only Andray Blatche” category.

Just this month, the “Fake Andray Blatche” Twitter account wrote a message to the real Andray Blatche.

“I swear people hate us just because we’re beautiful,” wrote the fake account, which is devoted entirely to making fun of Blatche.

“Tell me about it,” real Blatche responded.

Was he joking? Did that really happen? Was the entire thing a put-on? As with so much of the Andray Blatche experience, we may never know.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt on that. I actually reckon that's pretty funny, completely harmless, and shows a sense of humour. Still don't want him though...No sir-ee...

But that was five years ago, and again last season may have been a lockout fueled relapse more than a "he hasn't changed at all." If he comes cheap enough he is extremely low risk because you can cut him at the drop of a dime, and little is lost. His ceiling is quite a bit higher than, say, Gerald Green's. Oh, and if he angers KG, who cares as long as KG takes that anger out on the competition.
